Indiandawg, I have used other brands, but I like SE.
Its not bad for me, only setback is the keyboard on the phone. Apart from that it looks nice. I really dont understand why should we complain when the info we have is not final. Anyway they could have designed it, there were still going to complain. It has a better camera, wifi, umts, that is what we talked about for the next P series. Maybe there are other who complained about the flip, thats why they changed the design. Im sure they their reasons.

anyone know the new P-seires have micro-drive? if they don't have... no point having Wi-Fi.
i need a macro drive in order to save more things when i accessing the internet. memory stick might be too slow for me when i'm saving tons of data.

It looks very interesting and I will shure take a real close look at it as soon as I can get my hands on one, but the thumbboard...... Wel, I'm not to crazy about it but will make a final call when it is actually realesed. It will look realy good with the flip up though. |

Am I the only one who likes the idea of a keyboard on a phone instead the flip. That's the only thing I like about treo as well.
Anyway, nobody is buying P series phone for their beauty. In my opinion they all looked horrible (including Hermione), but specs outweigh that, don't they. Remember, it's the heart that matters not looks |

I want that keboard too. I've allways wanted that, instead of using stylus. If u dont want that, buy something else, don't blame SE. |

Why does it use such a slow processor. 202Mhz :-( isn't that the same speed as the old 6630 released by Nokia last december ? ? ? The Symbian 9.1 OS is quite demanding and SE is adding a extra layer on top of that ! Hmm lets wait and see . . .

I think the keyboard is a step forward in regards to quality...whether you like the styling or not....I have had to change a P900 housing twice because of damage underneath the keypad... so thumbs up for that aspect....

@mario: AMD XP has a higher rating than the real frequency. So if it'll be 208 and well used it's ok. Don't u forget the battery: it's the same ( 1260 mah ). Right now I'm using stylus and I don't have 2, to use both hands, so talking about that keyboard: KUDOS!!! |

I hope you are right. But come on only 202MHZ for a device competing with palm tops at 400+Mhz (as of today !) is ways to slow ! Even for a much simpler operating system like S60 the 202mhz is a tad slow in the newer devices ! By the time this comes out (hopefully 1 quarter next year) the competition will have moved on to even higher speeds ! I just hope, SE is not too cash straped and can afford a faster chip in the final version. You know there was a time when SE use to roll in money and used only quality parts (first ccd senses chip in a cellphone ! ) Unfortunately thous times are long gone.we only can wait and see . . . Greetings from South Africa. Mario.

There's only one reason for using a 200 mhz processor:Symbian is more simpler in architecture than Windows.Windows needs a lot of processing:to put it simpler:what Windows needs is 450 mhz, while Symbian needs only half. They put 200 mhz cuz it's enough.

Dude, so your internet connection runs at 160Mbps then? Take my word for it, you won't need a micro-drive.
"Memory Stick Pro also offers a faster data transfer rate than the standard Memory Stick cards. With a transfer rate of between 15 megabits per second up to a maximum transfer rate of 160 mbps using a parallel interface, Memory Stick Pro cards are fast enough to record DVD-quality video in real time, Sony said." http://www.pcworld.com/news/article/0,aid,111189,00.asp |
