"there was huge improvement from k700 to k750. camera upgraded from .3 mp to 2.0mp, memory stick support, better and faster menus.
only the size has remained the same"
You forgot the fact that now, after 9 years of SMS, you can now assign your VERY OWN sms alert! wooooo!
Not exactly light years ahead in fuctionality though. Video calling? 3G Data speeds? Symbian? Not to mention the inevitably poor lifespan and squeaking keypad normally associated with SE. |

One problem, as I see it, is that it takes too long time before a phone is "leaked" on the net and it becomes available in the shops.
Nokia is at least doing that one right.
When a SE phone has been on sale for 6 months, it's been on the net for 1 1/2 years.

At least SE phones have stereo sound for ages...i think that is more valuable than the sms sound lol
You forgot some another "little" thing in the k750 vs k700 issue:
Battery - k750 has the best battery in the market right now!!! In fact there´s no single nokia that can match that.
For a device that pretends to be a phone, a multimedia player and a camera at the same time this is a BIG issue. and nokia battery´s are pathetic

haha @Arez, excellent post!
Every phone has it's quirks. I certainly couldn't give a hoot about aac message tones. If I wanted one I'd transcode it to mp3. No big deal.
And the batt is awesome. Revolutionary. |

whats the use of an excellent battery if the handset wont last more than 12 months without repair

well there ain't nothin' wrong with my K700, used for over a year, and still going strong (but less well used). Add a T610 over two years old, and my sis's K700 nearly a year old. I also know of atleast ten other SE users with phones over 12 months old. I don't see why the K750 should be any different.
I see no evidence of non-durability in SE phones. |

same here, still have my more than 2 year old T610, prime condition, like new en every aspect. The same goes for my K700, one of the first K700's ever sold and plenty used, now being used by my 12 year old son after I got my K750, this also still look, feels and functions as brandnew. Like my old T610 No scratches, no joystickproblems, nothing, never needed anything but firmwareupdates.

"never needed anything but firmwareupdates."
So basically...that means that you've had to change something about it since you first had it to keep it running at optimal capacity. Interesting.

Its just a phone. If you not happy with what you have 14 days to take it back.SE need to work on their joysticks though mine is failing. Ipod Nano was announced a week ago and its already out! Still waiting for the HPM 70 Headphones..... At least SE comes out with the goods in Japan.

@bobby - wheres ur picture with no trousers??? ... kidding mate.
the comment other than firmware updates could be interpreted either ways... one that se takes the trouble to correct any apparent or undetected errors in the phone from time to time listening to its user base.... or as u put it... with a negative connotation....
using ur logic microsoft shudn't bother with their patches since what the heck they have 90% marketshare.... but they still do... if se didn't give firmware upgrades se users wud have sad faces like blokias
now all blokia fans... pl stop with all ur trolling on a se fan site... we already have to see ur ugly phones all around... leave us enjoy our buggy, messy, out of date phones in peace...
btw its nice that nokia have pulled up their socks.. that's what competition does... so be happy about it... no falling marketshare in 2004, no major improvement in products in 2005.... so i guess nokia users owe it to se, motorola, samsung to force em to innovate more... rejoice all cell phone users... |

Hey Im by no means a nokia fan...Ive had more SE and Ericsson than Nokia, just that the nokias seemed to last longer without any fiddling around.... |
