naah....no chance....dude, the money has already been deducted...so they dont give a sh*t whether you use the service or not....there are loads of new prepaid users signing up everyday...one user less makes no diff....its the postpaid users that they will try to retain...you may wanna consider switching to prepaid and theres a slight chance that they may consider some benefit, if you demand for it....making threats that you will go to Airtel only works against you

Ayush, i think you're trapped! Deactivate gprs and switch to airtel..and tell all your friends to do so too!

called up those a@@holes and they said even if i deact gprs still my rental will be deducted!!

Aah...i see...so are they saying that irrespective of whether you incur data usage or not...they will still go ahead and deduct the gprs rental...is that right?

No. They're saying even if I disconnect GPRS, they'll still deduct the rental amount for the month

I guess the best thing to do would be to keep it and use it till your recharge is due...and then just switch over to Airtel....might as well use it if theyre gonna charge for it...but it seems no point continuing with hutch, unless you are willing to live without gprs...btw when i changed from hutch to airtel, airtel let me keep the last 5 digits of my number...so just the operator code changed
