I don't have the counter in the service menu... R1L EU4 firmware...

Firefreak, I believe the joystick counter was only on the T68i (and maybe some later models, but definitely not the K750i).

My joystick is already becoming unresponsive . I tried vacuuming dust/dirt out of it, it improved it a bit but not a great long term solution.

Mmm, avoiding the joystick doesn't seem like a sane solution to me. Why would someone want to use a device "half-way"
Do joysticks really break that often?
I have never had a bad experience with any of my previous SE cell phones.
I'm just gonna enjoy the joystick of my K750 without all this paranoia!!!

just incase the remo who wanted to get into the menu without using the stick still hasn't worked it out - assign menu to the right shortcut key!
