Just visited a mobile expo and found out C905 is finally launched in my country (no official price announcement yet). I'll get back for more info and will tell everyone if it's much cheaper here, in case anyone got an interest in importing. |

@mariozlp & kaizerp900
The product sheet for ITC-60 only mentions pictures and music, so I guess it is not ment for video.
@dephanix
The cable is normally not a standard accessory for C905, except in few countries.

Interesting. I have no idea. I just noticed that the product sheet (at least the Swedish one) did not mention video. Better ask SE support about this.

Just a quick message to say i've just had my first reboot! I was in the settings changing the mobile networks bit to 'Gsm and 3G' and it crashed! X |

Playing around with my gf's brand new c905 since yesterday:D
It's a pity that it doesn't have a video camera; not that I'd use it but it's a £360 phone. I'm buying the phone on a contract on Wednesday probably, can't wait!
I've got a couple of questions:
Yesterday I flashed the phone with the customized western eu firmware. So far so good, no problems at all (and believe me, I was torturing it the whole day). I was wondering, what exactly is the customized firmware? What's the difference from a plain generic? Just for the record, the phone was on orange uk and the firmware sucked so badly and was so laggy. Huge difference noticeable right away.
Also, what's the little black whole near the ear speaker? it's right where my k800's video call camera is, but there's no cam.
Lastly, I hate the Orange logo on the phone, under the screen. I was wondering if it was just stuck over the normal cybershot logo, because it seems like it to me. |

@kritonas: The small black hole is a light sensor. It senses light and adjusts the screen brightness accordingly to save battery power and to stop it damaging your eyes in dark environments.

Speaking of which, i don't think the light sensor works very well!
On my k850 it worked a charm. In dark rooms the screen wouldn't be so bright or if you put your finger over the sensor the screen would go darker.
But on my C905 the screen never seems to change brightness no matter what room you're in, daylight or night time? |

crash...or crash and restart?
ive seen this happen once on a k810 which was wierd..it seemed to have had a bottle neck effect (soo much happening at once at the end it just couldnt squeeze all of it out at once)with it and the k810 couldnt hack it or something..everything went all laggy and crash+restarted.

i hope the branded c905s arent all like the above bold; it sounds like they run like the w910/k850 - a little laggy..^thats what it sounds like..
hmm concerns..
next best thing would be to flash the c905 to customized firmwares

For me it doesn't seem to work at all!
Just did a quick test (holding the phone under a lamp, then covering the sensor with my finger) and nothing seemed to happen. Perhaps the programmers thought it was a video call camera too

The screen froze for about 5 seconds, then went black for about 15 seconds and went back to the wallpaper like nothing had happened lol |

Didn't think it worked at first, but yes it does. Cover the sensor with your finger, wait a second and watch how the screen gradually goes darker! Easy to see when in an unlit room with the phone directed towards the stong light from a window. |
