Not to stir up or contradict anything SE has reported hardware wise, but this X10 has multitouch. Too me its not that important, im satisfied with mine with or w/o .

No its not multitouch, it just register the pz gesture as a double tap. Mine does the same and only in google maps, you can zoom in but you can't zoom out. For the optimistic ones, I guess you can consider it multi touch because you actually use more than one finger for the action. |

I couldn't manage to setup twitter.
I have changed my twitter password but nothing changed.
I had issues initially too, but i was just typing my password in wrong. I've got it syncing natively and also using Twicca as a permanent background app (which is awesome by the way). Flawlessly integrates with twitpic too!

I really wish X10 support multi-touch. I can't understand why it does not support it at the moment or will not in the future.? Does it mean that we will not see any device from SE that support multi-touch? All of the three OS's they have been working on will fully support multi-touch. SE has to look into this multi-touch issue. |

anybody else coming across the following problem:
I go to compose an SMS or MMS in landscape mode. I type in a contact's name in the "TO" field, but I'm unable to see any contacts to choose from. Even if i type out the contact's entire name, it doesn't automatically detect this and associate the name as a proper recipient. Then when I try to send it, it says no proper recipient and it won't send.
I find that I can only select a proper recipient from the drop down that pops up in portrait mode. Kind of inconvenient to have to start in portrait and then switch to landscape so I have the bigger keyboard to type with!

I broke down and bought one from the same eBay seller as you. So far he seems like a really stand-up guy. According to FedEx, phone should be delivered tomorrow morning! Gonna be a loooonng day at work tomorrow..... |

@Icrkz0023 - I was using the "standard" keyboard, not the android keyboard. I switched to the HTC one and everything's fine now.
@TJMonkey - ha! great! way to take the plunge man! let me know if you have questions. Fedex's original shipping estimate was wrong for me. the estimated delivery date isn't accurate until "pick up" has occurred. So if it's still on the initiated stage, you probably have an extra day to wait. you'll have it soon though!

Well, the phone has been "picked up" and is now "in transit" and it still lists tomorrow as the delivery date. Hopefully they're right so I can have the whole weekend to play with it. Tomorrow's my b-day too, so that was my justification for the purchase.... |

awesome! you're all set! and happy birthday! just about the best gift you can get i think...
Just realized that Creatouch app will be available starting next week!
I've also just got a new notification icon and i don't know what it means. it is to the left of the 3G icon and looks like a tiny phone tilted at a slight angle with lil vibrations on either side. anybody have any idea what it means?
Also, does anybody know how to sync the phone with an exchange server without using moxier?
