Reese? Or maybe this Vulcan thing.

It's new bluetooth headset type: DDA-0002024. But if it's confidential till 16 June, it may indicate that there will be something happening near this date... Vulcanic eruption

Doubt it's a low cost Xperia, as it has a 8.1 Mp camera. If that's low cost I'd like to see the high cost Besides Xperia it's a premium brand ...

But I agree it looks cheap, I prefer X1 designwise

ditto... that silver rim looks somehow out of place... waiting for a sigificant price drop of X1 in the future, though the waiting may be in vain given 's pricing policy.

Doesn't Vulcan sound epic and full of character? --Suitable for a high-end smartphone?
The Sony Ericsson Vulcan.... Sounds like an EU handset! I think the name should remain as Vulcan instead of X2.

X2 still sounds pretty badass. Like X-Men or eXtreme.

I think it looks great. The shots we've seen haven't been all that flattering though. I think once we've seen the press shots and some high resolution hands-on videos, we'll all be in awe as we were with the X1.

Yes, you're right. I'll reserve my final judgement till I see official pics and in other colors

Supposedly, it's upgradable to WinMo 7. In which case, it looks like a VERY promising device.

Something tells me it'd be a lot cheaper than the X1 as well.

i think the material use for vulcan is the same as X1. it just the silver and black color does not match each other. maybe a different color will show its true beauty

The front part is nice looking the silver bits looks a bit out of place and tacky though, and the back of the phone looks like a super low end phone with the worst quality plastic i have ever seen on a se product.

What I think is that SE needs to learn that tacky plastic silver is a big no no. Almost every phone they have has it dammit.

Show off unit means that it is far away from the final hardware, so im sure that it wont look cheap when you buy it
Guess its a 3,2" screen...

This headset is the VH310. We all know the VH300:

I also saw it popping up on the FCC yesterday with the short term request... June 16th is a tuesday, that also indicates an announcement. But we can't be sure.

WHen would people realize that Mr. Blurricam shots are never the ones to be used for judging the build quality of a device? The same device would look miles better when photographed properly, trust me.

Haven't you had horrible portrait of yourself taken at least once thanks to bad lighting/ poses/ camera technique? Same difference.
