can you please explain what is wrong? i don't have any problems with infinity
shouhei
if you look at picture 1 then you will notice less noise than on picture 2 - it's filtering, subtle but visible i think "problem with noise" can be somewhere else. for me picture 3 looks like EM was used - this image is definitely low noise and this can be achieved only with EM. on what settings pictures was done? if you used fine quality for 21.91 mod and 6.0 supermode then we have issue:
21.91 mod fine quality = EM
6.0 supermode fine quality = no EM
why i suspect EM? because of more noise and darker picture from supermode 6.0 - check this.
EM/ENM can be very easy achieved with shutter speed control - find proper value (using zoom keys) and that's enough

everything is in readme.txt file so please read careful. search for FILTERING parameter (under point 6)
cheers

TNX! Got this one. "Normal" means without NM, i.e. "daylight" mode? OK!
Two more queries please:
1) For sharpness of cid49, max allowed is "05". The lines in driver go like this:
INIT=$m 0 f $b0 00 1 7
$c0 00
#CMD(56,#SHARPNESS_CID36)
#CMD(58,#SATURATION_CID36)
$cl
#CMD(56,#SHARPNESS_CID49)
#CMD(58,00)
So i have to change the last line to #CMD(58,05) for max sharpness?
2) Sharpness alter cant work if Filtering disabled, which is so in the driver's Normal mode. In NM, filtering is enabled. So if i change sharpness to 05, it will work as 00 in normal mode and 05 in NM? Or have i got it all wrong??
Failing to prepare.....is preparing to fail. |

By enabling macro on samard 5.7 we'll enable autofocus rite ? how do i get macro mode using the driver ? thanks
if macro is off, autofocus is always on, and zoom works.
if macro is on, then autofocus is on with zoom set to 0.. the zoom keys will then do manual focus
so if you want macro mode, just turn on macro mode.. macro mode turns on enhanced mode as well.. also note that it will scan all focus ranges in macro mode, so its perfectly fine to just keep the phone in macro all the time if you want. (it will still focus all the way to infinity if needed in autofocus)
moved on to the Nexus One.. needs a better Android |

every time? if not then in what kind of photography?
drdeepankar
yep, as you can see there is NORMAL/NIGHT (night mode off/on) version
1) there is sharpness 05 for CID49 already:
#CMD(56,#SHARPNESS_CID49) ---> look at top of the driver code: SHARPNESS_CID49= 05
#CMD(58,0) is color saturation which doesn't work on CID49 phones
2) way of you thinking is correct but sharpness will be 05 for NM and noNM. if you have disabled filtering in any mode then image isn't digitally corrected (sharpness value is useless) that's all

yes... i was undecided how to use led light and i decided to leave "more light" variant. overbrightness help in very dark situations, on other side it will overbright anything else but i think more light is better than not enought light. simplest solution to handle big/low brightness is to change exposure time to low value. if i will find better settings for led then i will use them.

Raider: yup modded driver was on fine, what is 6.0 supermode fine? I'm always on fine mode lol
What I meant in the earlier post was to make the default shot of the super driver like the modded in fine mode with has EM or make it so when the cam is in fine mode its the same as modded driver and as is in normal mode.

The rar download you posted has the sharpness set to 6 not 5 unless you posted a different one. I looked at your readme.txt and it just says to change 06 to 05 but HOW do we do that?? If possible can you or someone post one for sharpness 5 and one for 6. I get blurry results with sharpness set at 6 on my W810.
Thanks
Kriomag 21.91 (Sharpness 5) FINE quality
Kriomag 21.91 (Sharpness 5) NORMAL quality
Kriomag 21.92 Raiderski (as it came in the RAR on the previous page) FINE quality
Kriomag 21.92 Raiderski NORMAL quality

@ all
I've been with this thread for a while and I understand everything except one thing.
As far as the SHARPNESS value is concerned in a driver, is the W810(which is a CID49 phone) being recognized as CID49 which = sharpness 05 or a CID36 which = sharpness 06?
Sharpness 06 is generally better for w810 phones. At first glance it seems like a stupid question but I've heard it said a couple times that the W810 is treated as a CID36 phone and the default is sharpness 06.
I just want the matter settled in my head once and for all so I know if I have to change the value manually or not.
Thanks
P.S TO EVERYONE
Have you guys developed any pictures taken with the phone?
They look great!
