Any one who used an x1, could they let me know how to send multiple files thru bluetooth? Cuz, in pro, i can only send 1 file at a time thru file explorer, that too as beam(and not via send :S).

Don't you thing it's rather strange, that american FCC is testing X1 with qualcomm 7200A on board? According to all the information we have by now, US version should have been equipped with 7201A (broadcom patent issue). 7200A is supposed to be installed in international version of the handset.

WOW!! maybe after all we are going to get VGA 30 fps in USA.
That would be great. Otherwise I will get the UK version.

I'm curious. I didn't think that the X1 had a video light, and it wasn't listed on the SE website last time I checked either. However, in that user manual it does have a video light. I know it might not be the final version, but can anyone confirm whether it has a video light or not?

I can confirm you, XPERIA allows me to record video with video light enabled, my proto X1 can do that, and if it is written in user guide, you can be sure

Also of note, if you check the user guide (linked a couple of post back) near the top you'll notice that the 3G and UMTS bands listed for both models are identical... I think it's the X1i that SE submitted to the FCC for review (Why, I have no idea?). Engadget has an interesting article on it, stating just that. I think it's premature to count out the X1a from including AWS 3G (Piguino2). I've taken up the stance of waiting until mid November to see what ALL of the manufacturers have to offer and are available before making a purchasing decision and upgrading to my next phone (ala HTC Touch Pro/HD, Nokia Tube which now all of the sudden sounds a little appealing, or X1) this year...

Didn't SE say that they wouldn't announce their plans for the X1 and North America until the beginning of November anyways?... In my experience with SE, SE doesn't know it's head from its own ass. I'll wait until it's finally out before I believe anything they say. I can't count on all of my fingers how many times things have been wrong or out right misleading in their various forms of media promotion (including their OWN website and publications)! I can't help but feel like SE is waging a misinformation war campaign on it's target audience before the release of every single one of it's new handsets! Maybe this has something to do with their drop in market share and profitability this year?...

I have got a question for all you proto having people. I have been considering Touch pro for a while but changed my mind due to low voice volume (i like to hear the person on the other side loudly and clearly) and most importantly the problems with 3g signal. People have been reporting connection dropping and not getting a signal even though another phone next to it would easily pick up the signal and not just barely.

Do you have any of this issues? 3g is very important to me.

Jabe, the touch pro's signal is fine in my place. But yeah the loudspeaker volume is too low and its got hight treble and very weak bass.

@s32baur,
X1i does have video light, its mentioned in their website, if not, then click on compare x1i with c905, and in the camera place you will find video ligh.t
