@blufyr3: Which profile are you using when trying to connect to your PC? Vodafone Live won't work...can't explain the finer details but suffice to say vlive is free but Vodacom set it up in such a way what you can't use it to connect as a modem.

With a K700 Im not sure, but why? Its very slow.... As for a v800 (vodafone live) you can anysite any amount of downloads you free!!!!
O it works brilliantly!!!! So im sure a K3/500 can!

@bongzino: I haven't been to a live show in a while...will be checking out Ded Prez when they're in Cape Town this week. Looking forward to the Cape Town Jazz Festival next year( if you want to network with the power brokers, get yourself a ticket)

@da krypsta: He apparently appeared in court just after 8am...very quietly...no reporters in sight. Today's move sets the scene for JZ to relinquish his position as deputy president of the ruling party which in turn will remove the platform he's been (ab) using to canvass for support.

Any of you guys bought the Vodacom data bundle yet? I think I'll get myself some later today.

Iv got a 75mb bundle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I use an average of 73 a month!! Only went over once...

I want to try something today... new F/ware for my K700 and a 64k sim.... you think therell be some improvements????
I had a 32k sim in a v800 and was stupidly happy with 20kbps but with a 64k sim im now geting up to 110kbps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@786KBR: What do you download with 75MB? My usage, I guess, cannot be more than 30MB a month even with Opera Mini and email.

Most of the new phones available are either EDGE or 3G/EDGE enabled. I think 3G is doing quite good because I see all these people walking around with 6680's and 6630's which are very popular phones down here...I've only seen a V600 once even though the phone is advertised a lot in print.
I can give subscriber numbers but it should've reached a million by now if not soon.
The problem I have is that the selection of phones offered by the networks are so few.

Sorry to hear about your phone, boet. Find the numpty who jacked it, give him 2 solid slaps then take away his trousers and send him on his way, preferably in the back of a police vehicle. By the way, i concur with Brix, my usage also averages 30mb per month, although i've loaded a 100mb bundle for December. Still waiting for home-loan registration to go thru, so while the move hasn't happened yet i've got plenty of time on my hands, may as well spend some of it online.
