@ CrazyBus - Im sorry to laugh at your misfortune, but it is rather ironic how when your update fails, SE use such a negative background image in the update software, the lightning strike.

It couldnt have been more ironic if they'd used a picture of a tombstone, or skull & crossbones.

@ rockygali - i dont think its anything to do with the sim cards, its the same with the sim ive always used in the phone. Anyway, im currently charging my phone right now, with it switched off and it just says charging as normal, it doesnt say anything about alien battery.

Its not worrying me, i just think SE might have screwed up their battery recognition in the current R1AA firmware release. The phone still works fine, just rather amusing to find that my phone no longer trusts the battery.

Very interesting choice of backdrop, to be sure

Nokia 6233 looks good - should be OK by May when my 1 year contract is up.

NE1 with Xperience of Nokia - is the software better or worse than SE?

To be frank the K750 software sucks - yes it is getting better but R1AA is what I expected back in May.

One of my employees who worked at Sendo summed it up - any manufacturer who provides a software upgrade via a web-site knows that they expect to upgrade the software regularly.

Is it just me, or has anyone else who updated to R1AA008 had thier W800i freeze while in sleep mode with the clock display on?
I had to set the phone to where the clock display is off while in sleep mode, and have had no freezes since then.
Otherwise, everything else is fine. Louder earpiece volume too. Yea!
In the previous firmware version I had (R1N035) I could have the clock display on during the sleep mode, and never had one problem.
Of course, the benifits of R1AA008 make it worth while. I can now use the bluetooth transfer, without the phone freezing, which was a problem with R1N035. (on my w800i)

I didnt read all the 200 pages so Ill post my problem and you guys forgive me if its already been answered.
Im running R1N035 and tried to update to the lastest firmware. It chose America 02 version and updated correctly. When I checked the firmware it was still R1N035. Does anyone know how to fix that ? The phone says its updated but its still the old firmware.

Ok ive just read some answers to the same problem and there seems to be a problem with the operator. Is it possible to update via davinci? (if so, please tell me what is davinci and where to go lol) Thanks

Anyone has issue with losing shortcut? After updating to the latest firmware(R1AA008), I found that my phone periodically loses shortcuts. I had set it to point to Select Profile, but the phone keeps losing it periodically. Also, seems like if I dont restart the phone every once in a while, the cursor(the square surrounding a menu item) will become lost. Only the selected item text is highlighted. I think I read it somewhere that this new firmware seems to have memory leak. All these issuses I mentioned did not appear in R1N firmware. These new bugs are getting very annoying....

Hi Guys,
I've got an european SE K750I including a sandisk 1gb memorystick pro duo.
My current software version is: R1N035.

My problem is the following:
The phone accepts the memorycard, and displays the exact capacity.
If connected to the pc (with the supplied usb cable) i can copy mp3 files to the phone, and there doesnt seem to be a problem.

After sending appx. 500mb it keeps on sending but if you disconnect the phone only some of the mp3 files that have been copied are visable/playable.

So there's enough space and the file transfer proces keeps on working but in the end i cant find all the files that are send over.

My question is the following:
- Does anyone know of this problem?
- Are there more expiriences with the combination as described above.
- Does anyone know if the new software version R1AA008 fixes my problem?

(there is a descripton for a simular bug: - Fixes MS Duo file transfer issues from the PC to the phone over the supplied USB cable)

R1AA fixes the Xfer bug to phone but there is a bug transfering from phone to PC. Also USB speed decreased to USB1.1 (i.e. fastport is a poor description). R1AA is worth the upgrade. Read 1st post.

Upgraded to latest firmware R1AA008 after getting my K750i last week.
Its on the O2 network monthly contract and not locked.
All went ok and have not noticed any bugs at all..... perhaps I am lucky?
