I have a feelilng that this hole is for air relief of the front lower speaker in order to produce a more bass sound. It doesn't look to me as a micro-usb port or a strap hole. |

Friend, it is for lanyard since there is no other place in the phone with a hole and you can clearly see the hook inside. sony did not ditched lanyard option since all z flags have it and also the prototype. "relief for lower speaker" please, i respect all opinions but let's not talk none sense.  |

oh darn it  really hoped for a waterproof micro usb port.
thing is that it does look a bit too wide? I would expect just a small hole as it's been sony's choice ever since. tho the location for a micro usb slot is also weird and would expect it to be at top.

hmm...so two version? One for Japan and one international. Maybe even with different specs, cause the source of the recent leaked pics says 4,6" 1080p and 3GB RAM. Wouldn't be the first time that "homies" gets better hardware. |

I wonder if the flash bleed issue with the plastic backs has been solved on the compact this time around, would be a shame if the same problem existed the second time around as well. |

The leaked Z3 compact reminds me of a mysterious phone leaked in late 2013 that was never revealed.(aka honami mini at that time)

^That's most likely a fake. Honami mini is Z1 Compact. That BB phone beside it is a Q10, which is smaller than the Z1 Compact. The design is from Xperia Z.

Huiyi was right about z3 compact having a 1080p display when everyone was saying it will comes with 720p screen. I think its safe to say that Z3X will definitely has 2/3 curve sensor because huiyi said so

This is good news but I feel we won't see the result anytime soon, hopefully we'll have products in 2015, although I feel 2016 is more likely. |
