Aha! So its problably a kind of manufactur reason/issue and not a unicque fault with my phone(the D-pad responisveness) Well it does whet it's told anyway. It just doesn't "click" as well in the down direction--so far.

mayb with a lil more use, it will soften down a bit .. hopefully
@silver .. .wait a min ... few pages back u were going for the gold one and now ur waiting for the silver one ... confused which one to get eh

Question is when the gold one will get released here.. ICe silver will be out next week.. If they release at same time, then it's real hard to choose

mm lets hope that is the case...
my friend who also have a c905 have issues with the slider after one week of use.. when slider is out it feels loose/wiggles sideways.. =/
that also triggers the microswitch so that the phone locks/unlocks/locks and so on..every time you touch the slider...
(i personally haven't (yet) noticed any problems with mine.. =O)

I haven't noticed anything wrong with my handset, the slide and camera cover do have a bit of give, but not so much its feels strange. It doesn't feel flimsy at any point, unlike some of the other SE sliders i've come across.
Touch wood it won't suffer the same problem as the K850 with crappy firmware!

hi all - new to all this
regarding davinci is it worth doing this and is it easy to do??
i just got a orange uk branded c905 today and hate the orange stuff on it.
is it easy enough to do for a newbie-any help would be great

I'd say it's woth it! But i only used Da Vinci to flash to an earlier versio for my K850. But i think that a firmware should be free of any freakin' branding!
I'm not english-speaking though so it took a couplae of minutes to get it how you go about to reflash. But once you get , it's a walk in a park! So i recommend it!

It is worth it to remove branding, because the original SE software is so much better, but beware that any debranding, modding, or opening up of your phone will void your warranty.

anyone can confirm the FIRMWARE performance out of the box?!
they all say that there is no available firmware upgrade from SE for C905. and coming out of the box, the firmware is lousy... well thats what they say..
the only resort you can fall into is KK... can someone confirm this?!

^^ who is they? all the reviews i have read so far did not complain anything about the firmware .. and please define lousy? i mean wht do u mean by a lousy firmware?
