Have you tried turning down the brightness on your phone? I have it at 60%. |

No. Im not using flash atall!
I mean, when im pointing an object. Lets say im taking photo of my cat. Picture is nice and clear. Then i press button and phone safes the photo and then i get almost totally different before taking the picture.
It gets too bright. Overbright. Like it put MUCH more contrast automatically after taking the picture. |

That didnt help. Before pressing "take photo" button picture is cearl and sharp. After saving it goes all bright so turning down the brightness on phone does nothing. |

That is the way it is with this camera apparently, according to gsm arena it is downsampling the 2mp image what ever that means check the link below.

when i take a picture it turn's out the way i have seen it first before taking the picture..you might have a faulty camera in the phone maybe worth taking back and check another one...take the battery out of the phone and there's a sticker on there to the top right there should be 05w20 ??w20 mean's week 20 it was made...but the one's with 17,18,19 seem to be alittle buggy maybe rushed to meet demand for the phone...worth checking.. |

It says 05w20 so thats not the broplem..
Here is a test picture, that is not in focus atall expect the cars on front but trees behind cars look so ugly. Maybe cos autofocus so its focused on cars and that why those trees are blurry?
Ok, now its is small picture, thats not bad but save it on computer and open as it should be. When its big picture u can clearly see that its out of focus..

damn it takes gorgeous pics!
just a couple qs to owners (sorry if this has been asked already.. i didnt see)..
1. does the camera only work when its on its side (like the s700)? can u use it when ur holding the phone up normally?
2. can u silence the shutter sound by puting the phone is silent mode? does it depend on the region where the phone is made?
