Help!!! I need some information!!!! Are there someone who knows if there are some bluetooth connector that supported by every motherboard? And the range is 200m? I know that the MSI 6968 work very well in door, about 150m, but there you need to have a msi bord.
I have a ABIt new bord, but i whant to have a good bluetooth connector. The MSI 6967 can not be true thar it will work 200m to, that have to be wrong..

Thanks!

hi, i'm using the 6967 add on card of msi. well yes you need an msi motherboard to be able to use it. but i discovered that the add on card still connects to a "reserved" usb port in my board, so in other words it's still a usb device, and my pc discovers it as a usb device. there's a way to to be able to use it on any moboard with any usb header pins available. But the problem is that you can't buy it anywhere, except if it's bundled with an MSI board.

Well, regarding the distance, it's true that it reaches up to 150 meters but the problem is that our t68i's cannot reach that distance to transmit. so 150 meters is useless for t68i's. haven't tried using two 6967's yet. and by the way, that measurement was based on a no obstruction setup. so doors, wall, etc. will definitely hinder the performance factor of the transmission. thanks

hi just got my MSI usb key..
but the problem is it doesnt work! i installed msi drivers first, update to latest driver, then i deleted and got tecom .16 drivers.
no error windows or stuff like that. now i try to pair it and both pc and t39 find eachother but the computer says that t39 refuse the connection?
i can send my background from t39>pc, i can send my bussiness card etc..but since i cant pair i cant send pc>t39 right?

what is the problem? what should i do so i can pair and send stuff to the t39 from my computer?

i have not paired this or any device before.

(it seemed like the first pairing worked once in the beginning: i added the pc with my t39 and the pc responded with "what code?" so i typed it and it looked like a perfect pairing but! it did not show up in the t39 menu and since then it doesnt work. i could NOT use any of the services)

edit: ok i did a reinstall on the tecom and now i can pair them perfectly..BUT PMP(the ericsson thing r4a "phone settings") cant recognize the phone so just shows a empty list..what should i do? and now i just need to figure out how to connect the programs to the phone:) (please help hehe)

@grek
you need to determine what port should MPM (not PMP) look for. by default, msi bt make com port 4 available, so set the MPM to search for com port 4.

@grek
try opening the serial port connection before launching any MPM dependent program. do this by right clicking on the bluetooth icon on the sytem tray, then go to services>bluetooth serial port>(select your device name)

@grek

an active software should be using the active com port so that you won't be disconnected, also if you are using mpm, reserve that port under mpm settings. mine can go for 12hrs straight without disconnecting

I have win xp, a t68i phone, and msi bluetooth adapter. Even though the phone shows the two arrows that mean it is connected to my PC, i can't get the sony/ericsson software (xntd?) to sync w/ outlook - it can't find the phone.

Is it because i am using com5? Please, can someone please post clear, detailed instructions on how you get this to work? Thanks.

check your battery first.
it is common for low power phone losing connection with pc.
