Just got the same response on my Orange (still branded) phone, it worked Ok last week before the update service was offline for all that time. |

maybe it is not fully functional yet... tommorow is a new day... we can only hope... I would really like if someone can explain what different CDA numbers means, especially the last one (/x) as it seems that those decide if you can or can not use SE US.

Hey, guys. Hsa it occurred to anyone here that all these problems with the online update service is the _reason_ that O2 (and now possibly orange?) don't allow its use? A few people have had their phones disabled by corrupted firmware from the d/l service right? Maybe 02 is doing its subsribers a favor...
OK, ok. Don't flame me. Was just a thought... |

I'm glad that it does actually work with an Orange branded K700i! Else purchasing that Dss-25 would of been a waste of money! |

Apparently it's the /0 at the end of the CDA number that tells the SE update service my device isn't supported.
Anyone confirm this? |

mine is a Sunrise branded (low customization) that I use on Orange (no simlock), which use to perform the upgrade flawlessly, but now, it says no service for my operator!
I can't believe it!
My CDA is /19

Apparently firmware release R2AA will not work with se update - this s/w has been removed by se from their own server due to bugs.
Only if flashed with earlier decustomise file and R2L s/w will se update work,
Does anyone have the EU1 files (decustomise.language, firmware and customise) for R2L that can be flashed back via Multiserver?
or has anyone tried using recovery mode to flash using online? |

I just tried the update service with my debranded Vodafone K700.
I have R2aa on my phone with CDA /16,
The other week it would try to put R2L back on my phone, now it doesnt try to do that and says "You are already up to date" instead.
i used the old de-branding method and so im NOT blocked from the update service.
