OK, let me juice up the C905, it's been in the drawer since I got an Aino.
...a bit later...
Left to right:
ARC X10 TX C905
C905 really bummed out in this.
X10 has a really weird blue tint (maybe it's purple I'm a bit colour deficient).
Arc isn't fantastic here.
TX is the best in the group.
Of course the photos here don't show the truth. In reality the differences are obvious and TX simply looks head and shoulders above the rest. At acute angles. It is the only one in which the blue of the sky is still identifiable as blue at a tight angle, the others either white it out or invert the colour.

I'll get a couple comparison shots of my Arc, TX, C905 &whatever else I can find older and newer. I got to go out right now though, be back in a few hours.

Maybe this isn't a great test but here's My new TX next to Arc, full brightness from 4 different gradients. It's quite clear to see TX's screen is immense compared to Arc's in viewing angles, even in my amateurish shots.
In practice, the screen is fantastic. It is the best screen I've had personally to use, but then again I've been on Sony's for a long time. It's clear, bright enough, colours are vibrant and the colours don't stay 100% true at tight angles, lights get lighter and darks get darker, but the base of the colour remains. No colour inversion that you get on Arc. Black text on white background looks perfect from the tightest of angles (and so does white on black). Maybe I'll do an almost 90 degree shot of text on the screen later.

The TX looks awesome, may have a better screen than Xperia T. It would be a shame. |

Dude, what's your problem? You can check that there is a huge difference between Ion's Screen and Xperia T screen. I'm not saying that screen on XT is garbage, I'm only saying that Sony is not putting their best screen on their flagship phone, and I'm just wondering why this is happening. You have reviews saying the same as I'm saying: XT display has great resolution but colours are washed out, contrast is not great and viewing angles are sub-par.
We are talking about products that cost a lot to consumers, I'm trying to test all the pros and cons for making a judgment tighter for future buyers. I'm not interested on trolling or criticize Sony without arguments, Sony is by far my favorite brand, I'm just proving evidence.
Xperia T is a great device, very fast, with an iconic design, but the screen is very disappointing for a flagship phone. I just want to know if my screen is defective or if Sony is teasing their buyers selling to general public prototypes of their devices.
You're angry with me for no reason, If you don't like what I'm saying take a break and get a life.

Dude, what the hell is your problem here and come with pictures from older prototypes?
I have the T and the S BOTH!!! and the T looks better than screen of the S.
Your post are just freaking as Medair often posting are you some of friend of him to proof that T have a bad screen?
The screen of the T is just excellent just what the most reviewers said and only complaining about the stupid viewing angles without any arguments.
So STOP keep trolling about so called bad screen of the Xperia T.....................i have one and it's looks perfect.

He doesn't own one, he just use some older pictures what last month on Internet arrive and use them now as proof that the T has bad screen.

I agree with you. I really like the V / TX, and the T moved close behind in the meantime. But all of them are followers of the king, Arc I of Sony Ericsson, the benchmark for all others, a timeless classic, one of the masterpieces of SE, probably even the best for last and their magnum opus, at least among the touchscreen ones. I do not have anything against on-screen buttons, but you lose a lot of individualizations without buttons, especially nowadays with 90% display on the front. All hail the king!
Look what I found :

Thanks guys got it now. Anyway just seen a live working Xperia T at Phones4U store. Nice display but viewing angles were very washed out. Otherwise looks nice but not as nice a screen as the XS. The back panel feels quite rough
