ah sorry, well there is a free todo app in which you can add, order and manage your todo items. it also has basic priority and you can add notes to the task. There's also a more comprehensive paid app for £5.99 that lets you sync with "popular online tools" like Toodledo or Remember The Milk (whatever that is!). take a look here for more on that...
yep, g-park is also free and in fact there's already 100+ free (and useful/fun) apps + loads more in the sub £6 level that are worthy of consideration
as mentioned before, Apple specifically prohibit the use of the SDK to develop GPS applications for voice navigation etc so as I say, TomTom needs to create an app without the SDK, or come to some arrangement with Apple but I'm sure one way or another it will happen. With such a large userbase out there how could it not?

If you have a "to-do" list in your Calendar on Mac, when you synch the phone do the "to-do" items not sync also? |

It's all still very vague though, isn't it... I'm coming around to the idea that the Iphone just isn't there yet, unfortunately. The lack of proper to-do lists is a big problem for me on a practical level anyway; I've looked into the third party task alternatives and exchange support is only possible via a few longwinded kludges at best; it's really something that needs to be built in along with the rest of the exchange support, and doubtless it will be on the Iphone 2.5 or whatever, but that's no reason to rush and buy the 2.0 this year.
The astonishing truth is that Windows Mobile is still the better OS - sure it's uglier, but in terms of the actual functionality it includes, and has available third party, it's many miles ahead still. Given it's totally open nature, and the fact that WM7 is bound to prettify things a great deal, it may well stay there too.

I just read Phone Arena review of this phone. They said they had bad reception problems and voice quality was poor on the other end. My god why cant Apple get something so simple about a phone right. |

same here. I'm running old and new iphones side by side this week and if anything I'd say the 3g is better reception and crystal clear sound
no complaints here, but then I had no complaints with the old one either

Hi all,
Well maybe it's an US thing then as many in the states are complaining of only getting 1-2 bars where other 3G phones are getting much stronger signals. But that is good news for UK users then.
How are UK users finding battery life?
Marc

Yeah the US probably is harder to cover with network coverage plus i did once read that with US networks sound quality when making a call is alot quieter. Anyone know of this. |

@ Mass:
Is the iPhone 3G's speaker noticeably louder? for speaker phone and for music etc as the iPhone is pathetic at loudspeaker functions.

I've just played the same couple of music videos and audio tracks on both old and new 16gb iphones and the consensus in my house is that the new iphone is marginally louder but it sounds quite alot better and clearer making the overall experience quite a bit better
but I never really play music or video through the loudspeaker so I'm not worried about that.
I'll give speakerphone a bit of a go when I've had my nosh!

I also only get 1-2 bars 3G Coverage on my iPhone where I normally get maximum with other phones. And 3G is very common in Sweden.
