Debranded my phone from Orange but still don't have Sony Ericsson default menu icons. How come? |

Did you chose generic UK? If so you should have flash themes.

I chose Orange UK. I have flash themes except I don't have the normal Sony Ericsson theme. |

There aint a normal SE one? Aprt from the Walkman theme which uses "normal" icons

Thats the one I mean. Mine still has an Orange themed menu for that one. The rest are flash menus. It has kept the Orange menu theme for thet particular one. |

Well thats because you chose the Orange UK f/w, for totally unbranded menu's you should of chosen Generic UK

Guys, I have just started a firmware overview topic for the  W850/W830 phones here...
But I would appreciate everyone keeping me up to date with their experiences with there phones. plus if I but up any wrong info about firmware, let me know...

is there any unlock for w850i yet, I am guessing it is one of those that is not possible to unlock - I can re-brand using wotan, but woudl like to be able to use my various SIMs! |

You'll probably have to contact your SP and ask them for the unlock code. |

I looked at the service menu and I don't have any locks from O2. Good stuff! |

Spoke to VF CS earlier today, they're going to supply me the unlock code for my handset FOC (normaly price is £19.99 apparently). |

I dont have one either. It may just be the white version who gets it, not sure.
