@Daz Yours had R1A if I am not mistaken and the update seems to taken it to R1B.

That was an older one, have got a new phone since then! lol
Mine is currently at:

R1B01
CDA: R1A36
R1B01
Not sure why i'm getting two versions for each...? Daz. |

hi all. i'm very interested in this phone and am already planning to get it soon. the only drawback is the lack of the camera. anyway i'll get over it soon.
i got a few questions (maybe this sounds silly, but i've never own a Symbian phone before), i hope someone with the phone can help me on this....
does the email on this phone support pop3?
did anyone tried browsing regular web pages like cnn and esato in landscape mode? does the browser resize the page to fit the screen?

Mine is World Generic 1....
Anyone know where the flash files get downloaded to? They may be corrupt? - Then i could run it again and it will re-download....?
Trying to think why it works for some and not for others....
( I have update service version 2.6.6.9 - is that different?)

SEUS puts its download files into folders under
C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\db
as a side note, I wasn't interested before but you lot have got me getting an M600 to play with, it should arrive in a few days

My push email was working fine now all of a sudden its going into panic mode and cant keep the gprs connection...damn |

you guys using xp? service pack 1 or 2? i dont' know why it just hangs... sooo annoying... mix and match firmware can't be good

Black M600i - retail
XP Pro SP2
update service version 2.6.6.9
World Generic 1
See if we can work out what's causing this...! Daz.

same setup by mine is generic 2...
just tried it on another pc and it fails too...
stops at the last 3/4 of the last update bar and ten says update failed please try again....

Would love to help, but really can't live without a phone... 
Have tried everything to update this baby, and it just won't do it... Even tried downloading the W800 update service, but it made no difference, there was no way to stop it updating as it booted.
Anyone have any idea what's going wrong? As you said, it just gets to 3/4 of the last bar, then fails... Very annoying... Daz.

i hate SE sometimes... looks like they'll probably need to push a new fall sometime during the week day.. cause the file we have is currupt of something....
anybody else have one that has been able to update the weekend?

Ok I noticed something strange with the push email, with my orange contract I am able to sync and hold the sync without any errors or disconnections.
My T-Mobile flex seems to only hold it for like 15 to 30 Mins and disconnects, if I check the log file in Exchange Activesync there is tons of errors.
If anyone is on T-mobile please can you check this for me, it might be t-mobile is blocking the port or something.
