he hasn't read through the thread, when he does he'll see that he's not contributed something we haven't talked about.

joe, for once in this thread, stop thinking like a person who's against Islam and like someone who's not against it.

I still have the right to a view just like someone who follows a religion.
I'm sure many Muslims are against others who worship gods other than allah/god.

What if i were against islam or against all religions for that matter.
What if i beleaved that religion was invented by man to soften the blow of deaf!

That is my freedom, that is my religion.

you already quoted and gave me a response in a previous thread. You could have added to there.

Everyone has freedom, everyone has rights.
Repeating it over and over again doesn't give you more freedom or rights.

If you are against Islam, in this thread you are going to be biased. That means debating with you is futile.

What I'm saying is that you are shaping your posts as general questions when it seems like you are just out to put Islam down.

THAT is my opinion, my right, my freedom of speech.

how can you make such a statement - name me one problem that sikhism has caused?

Sikhs may not of caused hate, but others will hate sikhism because of there religion (hope you know what i mean).

this is not a hate thread, this is a thread where Muslims and non-muslims can express their views and hopefully explain their reasoning.

not at all, I'm not a typical Muslim.
My mother is Christian, my father is Muslim. At 15 I was given a choice to choose what religion.
I chose my religion based on what I learned and studied (and I was carefull at that). I chose a religion which clearly promoted brotherhood, peace and foresaw an unlikely utopia which I have hope for.

You can ask many people on this forum which I've discussed religion with and they'll tell you that I am neutral. I will NOT support Islam if it is for a bad cause, but I will not allow the faith I believe in to be falsely accused or misunderstood.

Not biased at all.

As I said, if Christians demonstrated at a cartoon, if Jews demonstrated at a cartoon or if Sikhs demonstrated against a cartoon, I would STILL empathize.

everyone is biased sometimes. not all the time.
If you ask me what religion is best, I'll promote Islam because it's my faith.

If you ask me why religion is good, I'll promote ALL religions which promote equality, peace, and intelligence.

I am VERY open minded, and I never stay stuck on my own opinion. Isn't that right Solid?

Agree, as a non-religious person i will always question religion.
Thats just me. And due to the fact i dont follow a religion i am very unbiased towards religion. But biased when someone questions my faith or rather lack of faith.

i am dizzy from reading this thread it has gone round and round in circles so much!

i think most the world and both parties in every instance like this lack tollerance. we are all too quite to judge, too quick to preech and promote our own beliefs without enough thought or respect for those who are not of an equal mind.

there are errors on both sides and people need to show maturity and understand that in life not all instances have a right or a wrong side, and unless people show tollerance instead of digging in their feet on either side of the bridge then debates like this/arguements/war will always continue to plague man-kind. events like this whole cartoon saga worry me as they remind me what a very fragile but infinately precious jem peace is!

Well that might be because the only religion that is often discussed on esato is Islam.

I dont follow any religion. But can see why one would.

If you dont feel i'm unbiased thats fine.

But why pick on me for being biased, surly axxxr and 786kbr can be seen as biased too. I cant blame them for being biased for they love there religion.

(sorry axxxr & 786kbr for using you as my example)
