it's around 700kb, it should show up as SMC 1.0
I just installed it and my laptop is around 3C cooler, but I now hear the fan, never used to unless it kicked in.
However, the laptop still feels as hot  |

blimey..
anyway.. how do i "mount" an iso so i can burn it to dvd??
tried to mount using toast but it wont do it as its a windows fomatted iso i presume...
any ideas?

should work in toast, any iso files are compatable with both mac and windows

but when i burn it to dvd.. it literally just puts the iso on the the disc... i then have to open it using finder (it opens isos! i was well impressed) but thee idea of an iso is... theres files contained in this iso and when you burn it to dvd then should appear on the dvd as files...

you need to select burn from iso file, on the left, you trieed that?

My fathers macbook pro keeps closing down all internet based applications when run and the programs crash.
We have tried a re-install numerous things, ran a hard ware test etc alls fine on that side. Normal non internet bassed applications work fine with no troubles....
any ideas? Really dont want to have to ship it off as hes moving to spain in just over 3 weeks
any thing you can sugeest I would be most gratefull

ello folks..
getting a bit ahead of myself here however..
when i upgrade to leopard will there be a way of tranferring all my apps and docs over to it from tiger?
i really really dont want to loose 70gb worth of music and have to scan 1500 cds into delicious library ever again!!

I was wondering is there anyway to take a photo out of photo booth and make it into a passport photo?
You see i need some passport photos tomorrow and photo booth makes me look more pretty than using a proper photo booth lol.
Is there some kind of template i can make my photo into a passport photo?

nah the built in isight aint high enough quality then you have to resize them etc,
I did it with one of mine but with a 8mpx camera, much easier to use a photo booth lol
