The lens cover is easy to move on mine, and I guess it'll be the same on every handset. Just the way they are. It doesn't slide open on it's own or anything, it's just not very stiff. I just find these things irritating, more than a fault.
It's not just that it is easy (not stiff) to open, in closed position it can be moved around in all (four) directions a little bit. I take it yours is the same as mine then.
Yes mine can note like that too. But to a certain extent, my K810i could do that as well. Doesn't bother me to be honest.

Call me paranoid, and I probably shouldn't even go there, but...the slider is scratching the keypad. After four days of usage. There are small, thin lines immediately to the right of the 1, 4 and 7 keys and the lines can also bee seen on the horizontal 'metal' stripes.
Yes, I WILL give it a rest now and try to actually just use the phone.
By the way, I resolved the earlier mentioned problem concerning unplayable mp4:s from M3 by converting using Super instead. mpeg4/AAC coded files from Super works on the C905.

I think that the lens covers tendensy to move is not a fault. Rather a design.
I should add that my d-pad responses(so far) to my clicks in that way taht everything works and actions are carried out. It just don't "click" or go down as much as the other directions if you get me?

little tip - do buy phones from vodafone, they crap on them. Totalgsm does not have c905 firmware as of yet, so you will have to wait.

Finally, an indepth review from GSMARENA ...
in a few words, they really liked the camera and other stuff but also mentioned the slider wobbling a little as well as the camera shutter being a lil loose, confirming the probs experienced by some c905 owners

And:
"...worst of all, the press feedback of the four directions of the D-pad differs quite a lot"
So they cover pretty much everything we've noticed.

thtz rite marty .. i missed tht .. thanx for putting tht one in as well .. i hope the build quality will improve as SE manufacturers more and more of these things .. if im rite, k850 had some build quality issues as well .. like the battery cover which were improved with new batches .. so fingers crossed

Did try the phone today again, still wait for the ICE silver one, there was a K850 side of C905 both was demo, C905 feels much better than K850. I think K850 is one of the worst SE phone ever had made.. feel very plastic
