Welcome Tee, the silent watchman! :-) I wonder who else is watchin us...
MTN was off all thru the evening but on this morning. I left my pc downloading stuff as I left for church.
Vmobile ruined my cyberparty with my old school mates yesterday. Most of the txt IV's I sent bounced back because the network was bad. As a result, turn out was low. We were to have a big Yahoo Messenger Party. Vmobile is a Useless network. Apologies to amby, seni and Tee...

A uselessness surpassed only by Mtel... and often contested by MTN. Apologies to all concerned. No offense meant.
@teexl: Yes, I was refering to your "unseen watchman activities". I noticed that your posts are made "by a WAP device", meaning you dont use a SonyEricsson or a Nokia. What phone do you use?

On the contrary, I think Vmobile is a better network compared to MTN and Glo. The GPRS data service has not been launched, so you can't judge them by that. Remember when MTN GPRS was in its Beta stage?
I use Vmobile strictly for voice calls, and MTN/Glo for data and I have found that strategy works well for me. Sometimes when MTN is down, I use the Vmobile for browsing wap pages and on such occasions, I find it a lot faster than either glo or mtn. Agreed it times out very often, and sometimes I get errors as "Bad gateway" but it is still free. When Vmobile begins commercial operations of its gprs service you can bet it will be reliable.
@Coola: You cannot blame Vmobile for the non delivery of your sms. If the network is bad, the sms will not leave your phone at all, but as soon as it does, it will be delivered as long as the recipient's network is up and running, and that his/her phone is within network coverage. Always allow for at least a 12hour validity period of your sms. (set this on your phone)
Glo works best in Abuja, Vmobile works best in Lagos while MTN works best in Portharcourt, so choose your location, and choose your network
@Tee: Welcome jare, now people will begin to read your posts from the sidelines. Sometime ago Aya said he was sure MTN and Glo officials were aware of this forum and were most likely reading our comments about their networks. I didn't believe him them, but I'm begining to.
Good morning all, say a prayer for Nigeria today.

@toosexy: Welcome too. Exactly how sexy are you And are you male or female? Not that it will make any difference to me, seeing that I am already happily married
Guys, I did get my wife a cute Toyota Corolla, but she wont have any bit having it as her car. She says its "ours". She hasn't even driven it for a minute yet, though she says its because she hasn't needed to go anywhere on her own yet. The more I love that girl, the more I love her the more... Well, I've been cruising around in the thing
Guys, dont believe those people who say there's no true love out there anymore. There is. If I could find one, you can. Not all ladies out there are after what a guy can give them. And that's an excellent tribute to my wife. |

@Aya: Lucky you!
By the way, you have received more congratulatory messages this year than anyone else on this forum. Whats the secret?
@Toosexy: Welcome aboard.
We seem to be getting quite a number of new members. Anyone care to take a census?

Sincerely, I am not quite certain about that. I'd have to go through all of this year's posts to confirm that - if I had the time. But thanks for the compliments |

@Aya: I was just being preemptive, as I expect you to receive so many congratulatory messages today, and in the days to come on the acquisition of your new automobile. Search as you may, you won't find anyone with greater accolades this year
