Didn't they release an external mic for z2? Probably sold like crap, might as well let 3rd party to handle this sort of things. |

Actually I think you mean for the Z3 there was a high quality stereo mic (compatible with all subsequent Z series handsets).
I'm waiting for the next big tablet and keyboard set. I do like to see a good range of accessories though a style cover and a simple charging dock for a flagship aren't good enough.
The new devices need a speaker dock with noise cancelling mic for making video calls, something cool for TV connectivity, something cool for car connectivity (like a dual DIN tablet dock with standard car speaker connectivity, steering stalk remote control). All of which are possible with the now open USB port and can charge at the same time.
Finally accessories need to be lowered in price by about 10-20%. This to me would be the realistic retail price, if they really want to sell it then lower it another 20% on top of that but at the current pricing ranges they will sell very very few. I spend a lot of money on Sony mobile products but the accessories seem just too much even for me.

Sony accessories are selling the same way as their mobile products, meaning - like crap. Ask Sony about their latest tablet and keyboard sales... in Europe, for instance, because it's not selling anywhere else at all |

Well I think M and C series are enough. No need for T.
I guess we'll see Z5 Ultra and Z5 Tablet and Z5 Tablet Ultra maybe? Then in summer C6 M6 then at IFA Z6 and Z6 Compact. I believe premium will merge into flagship Z. |
