UPDATE:
- Sofia may be
and Cyber-shot.
Now I think SE should turn to Sony for one thing, a new and great brand name. A pure brand. And it should be used for high end phones.
I don't want a signature anymore. |

LOL, good one.
Anyway, yeah the Vaio idea is not bad, if they combined the WM and CS into sofia, they could/should use the Vaio branding.
Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. I Nokia N95 8GB and N82 |

I checked the nokia e65 today,in fact I was seduced by a nokia since 6 years,slide 2.2'' symbian 3.0 as slim as a w580...and for the same price as a k800!!
SE will not go far by making one phone a year that's interesting, they have to fight nokia on the not so very high-end phones and stop giving us garbage cheap phones or the unique wow phone that you have to wait now 1year and a half,I am not complaining to complain we just want to see SE beating nokia and not finish like siemens....
Now if SE will bring us a m610 for june it's another story

The Precision Digital Zoom function enlarges photos while leaving details faithfully intact by applying sophisticated image compensation based on Sony’s proprietary SRC signal processing technology. This function can double the image size regardless of the image’s original size. It delivers less image deterioration than conventional digital zoom, and smoother continuous digital zooming is possible all the way from wide-angle to telephoto. |

in the other words its similar to image interpolation in zooming mode right? anyway the quality isn't the same with optical!
I want High tech from to beat Nokia not some software thinggy compensation to level nokia phone
In other words SE postitioning its model lower than nokia! thats way I said is a king of low/mid end phone. Because SE higher end model spec is a low/mid end spec in Nokia Standart! what a loser!

SE wont be the loser, if anything they will be the winners - low/mid range = larger profit than high range. Even if optical zoom is implemented, SE will still be equal with nokia, they wont be beating them. So what would you rather prefer? Precision digital zoom or just digital zoom? I know what i would rather want...be greatful theres some form of improvements going on. |

Optical zoom....just use one of SHARP's 3/5mp sensors(from 904/910SH)....
...and branding for Premium Audio or Visual experience.......
....as in Japan(used for SO903i): Premium AV

IMO, SE will stick to this stategy for however long it needs. More profit from low/mid end = expect a larger amount of high end phones in the future. So i guess SE will move on to a more wide range stategy. So at the moment, optical zoom is a feature in development. Unfortunately it looks like nokia or sharp are your best bet right now if you are so desperate for optical zoom.
