good for sony, it's pathetic to pay 200 million dollars to one actor for the movie...
Yup, pathetic. But sadly, that's how marketing works.

Looks like sony lost one more marketing source as they won't be involved in next bond movie since universal has the rights now
Probably. You never know what will happen. Maybe they'll want to continue, but for a higher price? |

It's absolutely pointless for SM to "donate" 200 million for another bond movie. Not with the current marketing department. Remember with the Xperia T, they made it the official bond phone with a mini promotional video. With the Z5, they did not even bothered and just named Z3 the bond phone in the US.

Keep in mind Sony still shows off their mobiles and other devices in a ton of other movies, most notably Spiderman. If they were no longer able to produce the Bond phone I don't think it'd hurt them TOO much. If another big name like Apple or Samsung were to pick it up, then I suppose they would benefit greatly from it though.
I could see the next Bond phone having a folding display though. |

I'm not sure... I think people are so used to seeing iphones and galaxies (e.g. in posters for apps etc. or even other people with them), that they wouldn't notice much if James Bond was using one. At least it would stand out less than seeing a Sony phone, as you don't see them as much. |

I dont like what new CEO is doing.
I feel worried when I see news about killing products ( cellphones, tv, audio etc) and just keeping services ( movies, music, games etc)

All of that "news" is pretty much bullshit from what I can tell from reporters who misinterpreted statements. I think we can safely ignore that. |

Sounds unfounded. Bravia is doing better than ever. PlayStation is dominating console gaming. Audio products also doing pretty well. Camera and Semiconductor divisions on the up.
Would be dumb to end it.
Smartphones are doing shit, because Sony keep releasing too many shit phones every year. |

Sony needs to improve their R&D turn around time, as they recently acknowledged. Hell, the loop design from last year was leaked 5 years earlier in the Sony hack! They have to react to the market faster |

Number of products sold are decreasing, of course it does not necessarily means less money.
Not just about Sony, other brands too.
We used to have tons of useful products, but times have changed.
Cameras are getting more restricted to professionals, ppl listen more music on their phones than on mp3 players etc..
This would not be bad just for costumers, but for other brands too.
Many stuff done by many companies were brought to world by Sony.
We can easily point Sony as one of most important companies ever.
It would be very said if the TVs, cellphones and cameras have same fate of their computers.
I always wanted a Vaio, but could never pay for.
Dell always costed half. |

Wait, working together, or separately?
If separately, I wonder if this has anything to do with Sony's working with LG Display or if it's a Sony only initiative. If it's Sony only, does that mean JDI, or actual Sony.
lol, got me all curious now |

In 2020 or even earlier, Samsung and Sony are ready to adjust the transparent OLED and CMOS under the screen is not technically a problem. |

For technical reasons, it is a pity that Sony has cancelled a completely new interactive design that might have been stunning on this year's IFA |
