well its close to impossible if you insist on putting a walkman player on a K series.
But you can turn your K series phone into a W series phone.... of its equivalent.
hence, youll have a walkman firmware on your K series body.
is that what you like to do?!
back then, with K750i, you can turn it to W800i via flashing...
since you have a K800i, i think there is now way to change it into a walkman firmware... i dunno any equivalent W series of K800?

Here's one I'd appreciate a view on.
I have a K800i with the Vodafone UK network. The nice folks at V were kind enough to let me unlock my mobile from their network so I could use it in Ireland on a different provider/SIM.
Anyway, I thought, now that it's unlocked I should also flash the phone to the latest firmware. It's currently on R1JC002.
So I went to Sony and downloaded the SEUS service. All went fine. However, it said I had the latest firmware but did I want to update anyway? I said yes.
It went through the process and after it completed I couldn't see any change.
Consulting the WOTAN site I can see that the latest firmware appears to be five versions up from mine at R8BA024.
Am I doing something stupid here? The phone's unlocked, the SEUS software appears to be working, yet it said I had the latest firmware when I know it's not.
Suggestions?

R8BA024 is not SonyEricsson developed FW. Note that all of those that upgraded to R8BA024 have the same software generated IMEI number (including me) ending with 565.
Only positive thing about R8 is fast JAVA engine. No other worthy improvements.
- improved acoustics you can get from pedros v2 (very good)
- improved camera drivers you can get from several sources (number1,kopritis)
Battery life is not all that great with R8BA024, as with previous FW versions. Even after 3G has been disabled (as it drains your battery relatively fast)
To sum it up, personally I would rather have very good battery life over JAVA7.7 engine, and all other "improvements" are actually not improvements at all since several modders out there released a lot better acoustic and camera drivers than you will get with any FW released so far.
Those are my findings so far, however, it is a personal choice what you want your phone to have in terms of firmware, I, for one, am going back to "official" SonyEricsson R1? version FW.
