If true, I feel the IMX240 could be the sensor which will be used. While props for Sony for using such a large screen on a device, the device is still too large. Recently saw a person using a Lumia 1320 on transit, 6in, and at first I thought the person was using a tablet. |

Well my wife's been complaining how large her ip6+ is. If that rumor is correct, I can buy her a ip6s and use her plus until the beast strikes back. And yeap opposite poles attract eachother  ).
Apart from the camera being inferior, I would be all over a 4K, 6.44" display, SD820, 3 GB RAM, and dual speakers. AND definitely that graphite black!
By the way thank you for the rumor. I was kind of short on Z6 Ultra searches

z5 compact premium could be fake but i find interesting that there is no sign of z5 series sony mobile japan and carriers' websites... |

I thought generally that the Japanese carriers announce the entire season's collection from all manufacturers at the same time. Accordingly I would have thought that Sony Japan only put up on the website at that time so as to not jump any guns.
Maybe it's just not time yet?

Z4 was announced a few weeks before docomo's annuncement.

Speaking of OmniBalance, that concept is headed for well-deserved retirement. The new design philosophy is dubbed Sense of unity, but we'd require some more convincing to call it entirely new at this point, but Sony reps assure us we're going to see the real difference in design in 2016.

Stuff is also stating the Z5 Ultra. Guess leaksfly is a credible source afterall. Do you guys think we'll see a more radically changed design for Z5 Ultra if it exists? |

I think that if it's named Z5 Ultra it will be the same design, if it's named Z6 Ultra (because of the 820 SoC and some other improvements) than i believe we will certainly see a new design. But I believe next Ultra will be classified as Z5 and as such will not feature a new design. |

^^ With sony, name and new high end announcements time are a mystery in this transitional era...
Based on weibo info and sony attitude i think that the name will be "z6 ultra", yet another small evolved ob, will be paired with "z6 tablet", announced at mwc (march) and that only the next main compact and premium trio will reveal more change in design/completely new one somewhere in 2h. Sony seem to take things slowly...

Hope they keep the frosted glass and matte frames. The Z5 Premium looks like a fingerprint magnet from photos. |

One of the main reasons why it would be nice to have it, fingerprints everywhere and once the back scratches up, at least the film, it will not look that premium. The second reason, price  |

Sometimes they're skipping one number (M2-> M4, Z1C-> Z3C-> Z5C). I don't think we'll see either of those you mentioned. Which is a shame because I have to wait for the whole year for a Compact with SD820 instead of problematic 810 and dumbed down specs (compared to the regular Z5). |
