r6isnum1, any version will work fine on the GSM T-Mobile USA. None will work on the 3G part.
That's what I thought. Thanks.
One more questions for those that are stateside. From what I hear from friends that work at TMobile, they are to release the phone trough TMobile, has anyone heard this to be true? I would imagine if it were they would manufacture the phone to TMobile specs to allow 3G access.
Again thanks in advance...
I have a friend who works over there, I checked with him to confirm, he said he will look into it. If TMO does get the phone I am guessing we'll see it in 4 months or later, as a 3G TMO version has not hit the FCC website yet.
That sounds about right. I would kind of hate seeing everyone with the phone but if it means that I would 3G capabilities that would be awesome. Please let me know if you hear anything... Thanks

I bet the phone will be at a price at Tmobile that a lot of people will balk at since it's not an iPhone or Google phone with a touch screen, probably $200+ with 2 year contract, at least. |

That's for true... I'm thinking I'll still pick one up now and if it comes out through TMobile I'll resell mine to someone on ATT and get another. I have three phone lines with them and would be able to extend the line with any one of them.

Do our distributors here in the US get the full package of the c905 then strip its contents to cut costs as well as resell the package contents?
c905 is for sale at Plemix.com for $575 but, doesn't have the usb cable, usb adaptor, headphones with quick connect cable(or whatever it's called), and 2gb m2 card. All of our distributors seem to have the same package contents or lack there of I should say. Is this the way they're shipped here or does the distributor do it?

A-GPS still uses satellittes, but when it can't get a fix quickly (for example if you are inside) it supplements the true GPS with cell tower triangulation (based on the GPS that every cell tower contains).
It's a myth that agps needs the phone network to function. A is short for Assisted. So it only assists true gps, not replace it.
I know all this but can you try it out by just disabling the cell network and see whether the GPS still working or not. Cause there is a new variant in this AGPS thing that the unit don't really built in any GPS receiver but just receiving the processed data directly from network mask. This kind of AGPS won't be able to work if no cell signal.
C905 has a full GPS.
"AGPS only" devices have been around for a while, but they are generally unpopular due the need to be in range of the network and have a working internet connection.

That's sounds no good, because the lenscover should protect well, looks same as they use for Sony T series..
