I'm a little confused. So there are three C905's, a C905, C905a and C905c.

C905 has:
Networks
- GSM 850
- GSM 900
- GSM 1800
- GSM 1900
- EDGE
- UMTS 2100
- HSDPA

C905a has:
Networks
- GSM 850
- GSM 900
- GSM 1800
- GSM 1900
- EDGE
- UMTS 850/1900/2100 MHz
- HSDPA 850/1900/2100 MHz

C905c has:
GSM 850
- GSM 900
- GSM 1800
- GSM 1900
- EDGE
NO 3G

What HSDPA does the regular C905 have? It's not listed. And it's only 2100 UMTS? Can any new purchaser tell me what their phone has? I have Tmobile in the US so I won't be able to use 3G in any case (since it's the 1700 band unsupported by the phone) so I assume it would make ZERO difference to me whether I got the C905 or C905a, or am I missing something?

Can someone help asnwer this. I asked the same thing a few pages back and never got a response. Just like this poster I aslo have TMobile and wonder is there any difference to which c905 I purchase.

Thank in advance.

r6isnum1, any version will work fine on the GSM T-Mobile USA. None will work on the 3G part.

That's what I thought. Thanks.

One more questions for those that are stateside. From what I hear from friends that work at TMobile, they are to release the phone trough TMobile, has anyone heard this to be true? I would imagine if it were they would manufacture the phone to TMobile specs to allow 3G access.

Again thanks in advance...

If it's same old A200 then you'll find Light inside the Organizer menu.

I finally got to have a play with one of these in a store, they had both the bronze and black versions in. I'd go for the black one mainly due to the rubberized back. Its a shame I'm not eligible for upgrade for another 5 months and don't have the odd £400 lying around

It felt really well built, and the slider mechanisum seems to glide easily, unlike the W595 they also had there. Jeez, it was like scraping two bit of metal against each other with the intention to produce sparks!

Anyway, C905, defiantly my next upgrade!

I got it here in Hong Kong. Seems like the price here is pretty good. Got it for 4480HKD which is about 570USD. I got it in fortress which is a big electronic store in Hong Kong so I am pretty sure you can get it even cheaper in the small stores.

Phone feels very solid. However I already found a problem with the phone. After I got a missed call, it says there is a new event. So I open it. The missed call icon went away, but when i press the shortcut, it go right into New Event but there is nothing there but there is a (1), meaning there should be a new event. I need to restart the phone so when I press shortcut again, it will go directly into shortcut instead of the new event. Also I still couldnt find a place where I can change the top left and right key.

Its just plain old smooth plastic, don't get me wrong, it still feels like a great handset, but for functionality alone, the material on the black version is better.

There is no Torch option in the Organiser menu. The only way I can get that light on is to turn the Video Light on during recording.
