I dont know if some1 hav already posted this, but in this webpage http://www.celluloco.com appears a price for the S700.. (674.88 US$)
It says that its going to be on stock the 14th of may.. and in the specs sez it has no FM radio ... ?¿

how could that be? wasn't it supposed for Q4 2004??
what do ya think about it?
another thing.. when you check what the package includes in this page it doesn't mentions any software or usb conection cable & stand for the pc (like the pX00)

I would love to believe that the S700 will be out in late may and not end of the year.
I really hope it is. Can you email the company and ask them to give you more information on the release date.

Mobilcity.com had those two phones S700&K700i for preorder now many weeks. There has been a price on it US$700/US$600 on both. Both show an availability of Q3.

Do you reckon the websites that state earlier release dates are telling the truth? I really hate it when our expectations get shattered due to websites not getting their facts straight or to get people hooked. It bites

I think it does have a mini web browser.
Check the S700 whitepaper on the Developer link at
www.sonyericsson.com
you will have to join tho, but its free.
3Q could be the release of this phone too (heard from a reliable source) fingers crossed its true. |

-yes it does plays videos.
-It records videos depending on your memory left or the limit you want ..
-has a built-in Fm radio... it can only be used when the headset is connected, even when you're using the speaker
-and it supports memory stick duo (with a max of 1GB.. which i havent seen in my life; maybe it gets released l8r)

sorry I've just checked the page, and they have modified the date to June, 8.. hope they release as soon as posible.. and if its going to be released later.. they betta improve it.
s700 its tha best non smartphone ever (except in japan obviously) ..
it has all a cellphone needs
-good camera
-good resolution (colors and pixels)
-huge display
-cool design
-external memory
-bluetooth , Infrared....
etc etc etc etc

 S700 flash presentation says that you can browse the web on the S700 but the whitepaper says it supports xhtml not html.
I really hope they can fit in good old html.
anyway, can somebody enlighten me on the difference between xhtml and html. |
