Do you know about DIGITEL landline's latest promo?

The CHOICE Mobile Plan...

For an additional P100/month, you will enjoy 50 MINUTES of Digitel landline calls to Sun Cellular subscribers...

lumalabas na P2/minute ang tawag mo sa Sun Cellular for the first 50 minutes.

After the 50 MINUTES are consumed, you will be charged P5.50/minute on your Digitel landline to Sun Cellular calls...

Hanggang September 30 lang ito...

I have tried SUN before, & I think that SUN's services do deserve high remarks. For one, they dont lie to their subscribers ( at least I never encountered one yet). The only downside w/ SUN is the signal, but it will eventually improve... globe had trouble w/ connectivity & signal befor too. Same goes w/ smart, when they started they also had connectivity problems. Yet globe & smart had denied this a long time. That is where SUN turned out to be unique for they hid nothing. I think SUN deserves a chance, Im activating my new SUN sim now.

The biggest problem right now is poor indoor signal. Getting out of the room or going near a window remedies this. Use Sun, get fresh air

The other problem is gprs network congestion w/c started around August 19, when Globe began (over)charging on WAP GPRS usage. I believe most of those who use Sun WAP now are former Globe subscribers, i.e., addicts to free WAP! Used to be able to WAP on Sun anytime; now, it's only usable from approx. 1:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

I have a Globe G-plan (will end in Nov.) but I will use Sun exclusively when it's terminated. Used to be loyal to Globe but their "unprovable" gprs overcharging tactic is just too disgusting: When I received my billing, the per-kb charge "seems" to be ca. Php0.14/kb. But what they actually did is that they increased the no. of kilobytes on the billing.

Globe's kb per billing stmt. vs. kb per your phone's internal gprs counter is nowhere near. What revolts me is that they falsely advertise a LOWER rate of Php0.15/kb (vs. the other networks' rate of Php0.25/kb) when in actuality, the charging is from Php0.68 to Php0.85/kb. Put on a Globe prepaid SIM and see for yourself!

On the other hand, Sun's charging for Internet access is very near the declared Php0.25/kb.

i just wish sun would install additional cellsites near my home so that i won't have to place my phone near my bed where the faintest of signal can be detected... and so that i won't have to keep a back-up smart prepaid line.
