Can you have autofocus in video mode (like in normal camera mode?) I didn't think this was possible. We only have manual focus or infinity.

Hiuhh! I thought that I destroyed something but now I know it's not my fault 
Well, I don't know why we don't have AF in video but in this case it's a MAJOR BUG - thanks  !
Focus infinity is default focus value in video, so instead of infinity in manual focus I used AF start procedure and... it works - start, scan and go back to good position.

Do you have to half-press the shutter button to make it auto-focus or does it focus automatically when video is turned on

Half-press doesn't work. It start on command -> manual focus (+2.0) and step 01.

how was the autofocus?
does it makes sounds when focusing?
i really hate that 'click click' sound when manual focusing..
Normally i focus first then only start recording..

AF is in manual focus function, so you can use it before recording.
Small test of early version of v6.3 - more (!) sharpness of details, a bit stronger colors and deeper blacks. Elm has to know that his place is under C901  I will be back on Monday, have a nice weekend!

Very sharp pic. With very bright colors. I like that twilight pic. You can see the sky as well. Normally this is not the case with others.

There's a best-pic bug in V6.2.2, take a picture with best-pic, choose to save none, then select back to go back to the camera, then the camera crashes

We need manual sharpness  How do you change the depth of black color, is this saturation or can we have another manual function?
