Can someone please confim at what framerate does the p990 record video? Some say 15, some say 25 and some say 30?

15 fps QVGA, 30fps for lower resolutions

I hope all of you know that with the latest firmware you can not take movies with focus, and all them are bluried. I have to recognize that the picture quality is good, but the movies sucks. N70 is by a mile better.

Hi all,

Just got my P990i and play around with the camera..however, I feel somewhat disappointed with the picture quality..it is just not as crisp as I want it to be (pls check below pic)

Any tips or tricks? or the P990i is just like that....hope not...

ps: I have not tried to upgrade the FW...my current one is

well, that's the best you can get right now. if you bought it for the camera, then it's the wrong 2mpx phone.

the first picture on this page (the dux crossing) looks much clearer than yours, right?.
i have mine set to max resolution, auto focus is normal, and quality to fine. also make sure your hand is steady when you take the pix, as the phone does not have any hand movement compensation.

the pic below is out of focus, cos my hand was shaky


but this one is much better cos shakiness was gone
