TomTom for P990i |

Anyone knows how to turn off "on screen keyboard" in TomTom? The keyboard covers most of the screen and its not Querty. So it's anyway confusing to type. I would rather use phone's keyboard.
Also, anyway to set the font size in TomTom? When I search for POI, I can't see the full name or the address of the POI.
Now I know how to set landscape mode. Any other ideas?
Any tips/tricks?

I tried the screen rotation trick and it's unusable for me as the bottom half of the screen is missing and to the right it still shows quickoffice. |

You have to start Tomtom after you started quickoffice..
The instructions told you to start it before to get it in the "recent" list, but you have to quit it and start it again.
If you use Swiss maganger and have Tomtom under favorites you don't need to start it before you start quickoffice.

Thought an option would've been available in TomTom for widescreen mode! maybe will be implemented later on?

Anyone knows format of the data files or favourites POIs? Lets say I want to store all the resturant names (currently TT doesn't have all the new POI's in my area) as my favourites.

Mitzy, do some reading. you need the UIQ3 version. TT5 for your P910i wont work. You need TT6 |

Hello, just got tomtom 6 to work with my new p990i, i´ve used Route 66 on my old p910i for 1˝ year without problems.. so i decided to use my old Bluetooth GPS (Ebontek eGPS-397) and connect´s it to my p990i, checks the box "trust this device" (or something like this) in the bluetooth menu. Tomtom finds my gps, BUT every 45sec the connection drops to my gps and it´s reconnecting, finds 6-9 satellites, after a few sec the connection is lost again... and so on... Anyone who knows what could be wrong? here´s a link to the info. file about my gps : http://www.ebontek.com/Spec/eGPS-397.pdf
plz anyone?
Best Regards
