Well, maybe if that is true, but i think 3's bad points outweigh their good points. I used to be a customer of theirs a couple of years back, and the service was terrible.

Yeah there CS centre in India is pathetic to say theleast but when it comes to tarrif they cant be beaten although Tmobile are coming close with their Relax & Flext tarrifs. Mostly Voda and O2 have been advertised as for pre ordering this handset.
I wonder how this phone will stand up to the Sharp 903. I know the 903 has an optical zoom but i think the CCD use in the 903 may just edge it over the k800. |

Nah, the K800i has better picture quality IMO. I still dont rate the 903 all that highly in terms of picture quality, even though other people say its the business.
I doubt the K800i will come with a HPM-70, or at least if it does it wont be Walkman branded, it'll be a cut down grey SE version for none-Walkman phones.
@ Coxy - i dont intend to start an arguement, but its clear to me from that picture your refer to all SE have done is simply move where the cable leaves the connector, and nothing more.

Well begining of June is the most concrete weve heard and SE are normally bang on with release dates.
Apparently 90% of the units are already complete which is why so many people have had their hands on it for reviews. www.3g.co.uk hints at a release in a few weeks and alows you to "pre order" it but thats nothing more than an email system to lt you know when its in stock.
Junes not far though, 6 weeks or so away. |

It was the same this time last year, everyone in April wanted the K750i like crazy, including myself. Then, it was released around the second week in May on O2 contracts, and then appeared sim free towards the end of May (when i got mine), and then appeared everywhere else at the end of june a month later.
Im sure it'll be the same this year with the K800i, so dont expect to see the phone until a couple of weeks into May or early June if you intend to buy sim free, like i usually do. Thats my guess anyway compared to last year, and the K700i in 2004.

Well if they follow suit like all previous years then ill be getting mine as soon as it comes out. Ill be getting a new contract so O2 seems fine. Im not a big fan of Voda to be honest.
I wonder how much this will be to start with. Should be free on a 30 quid a month tarrif. The review said 350 - 400 euros so i shouldnt expect the prices in tandem with the Sharp 903 should i ?
Ill be very dissapointed if they make this a very expensive handset like the p series are and sharp phones of voda are. |

so do we know its definate that the 'proper camera flash/light' can not be used for a flash light purpose, that it won't be included as an option on the phone like the k750 in the organiser, nothing like that?

Does anyone know when M2 memory sticks will be available?
I will hate having only a 64MB card when I'll buy the K800. A friend of mine will be in New York for the next four weeks and i was hoping he'll get a 1GB or 2GB card for me from there.

I take it you mean the first day it came out on Virgin PAYG ? because phones like the K750i werent released on PAYG for a while after the phone official release. It'll be the same with the K800i.

Was the k750i originally scheduled for June release Etaab? Just wondering if SE will release the k800 at roughly the same time as the k750 |

In Eldar's review you can read that...
"At the moment widespread of this cards is minimal, but the company promises to release 512mb capacity memory cards by March and in June maximal capacity card for 2006, which is 1gb, will be released." |
