The plan costs only Php 950 + 10%VAT (Php 1045.00) a month for unlimited usage. The catch is, you have to purchase the pcmcia card from them.
There are 3 schemes for the purchase of the PCMCIA card...

Monthly Charges for succeeding months P1,045.00
Lock-in Period 12 months
Pre-Termination Charge Unpaid Balance of Device Cost

It has to be an EVDO compatible pcmcia card and the only equipment Broadband Philippines is offering right now is the Merlin V620.
There are other cards in the market as well as other equipment used for EVDO but the company has not launched nor would they program subscriber's equipment unless in bulk. Some of these equipment would include PDA's, phones, USB, etc. |

I tried Smart's free 3g at their gateway wireless center. Well ang maganda ay yung......mga promo 3g babies making all those demos. lol. The sad part was I was asking for a k600i live demo since I wanted to compare the quality of the display during a 3g video call. I was not satisfied with the display of the video call using the nokia n70.
@619, k600 users: anong say niyo sa quality ng display during video calls vs bokia's 3g units.

ay ako hindi na naka K600 - napalitan na ng W600 bwahahah mas maganda pa pala 'to sa W800 e. better syncing software/USB mass storage/post-K750 & W800 firmware revisions, etc. hindi na ko makapaghintay sa W810 heheh |

yno.. im not sure how to compare the quality..... n70 has a bigger screen.
and i think there will be factors on the area you are in, coz not all areas has 3g infra.
if u have a 3g phone and you like to do testing.... dial 0919-9100128 rockwell smart demo account.. the girl who will answer you is "RT", or the fat guard

SE k800/k790 : 3.2 megapixels camera at hindi pa Carl Zeiss yun!!! Walastic.
Bilis na talaga ng technology ngayon unlike the days of 1 and 2g.
On another note:
Smart 3g up to now: free trial
Globe 3g up to now: for postpaid only and may fees na daw??? How true mga Globe users diyan na postpaid??? Also a friend of mine told me na globe postpaid user na hindi ganun ka real time yung video call under Globe's 3g.

3.2 MP ba talaga daw? kasi yung k750/w800 diba 1.8, rounded to 2 MP (or is it industry standard na pag may decimals, round off mo na? or is it a matter of misleading advertising?)
out na ko sa 3g scene, nabenta ko na yung k600 ko  pero mukhang gusto ko na ng w900 ngayon ah..hmm..kung sobrang overpriced ng w810 on first release, magw-w900 na lang ako. ta*na 17.5K na nga lang daw w800 sa mega exchange ngayon eh |
