@sanju_web:
First.... Your caps-lock is on...
Second... You just have to wait, or try it at a other time.

Runner, I know that you know everything, but I bought phone few weeks ago in the shop, upgraded it with seusII. There was no hissing before, it appeared after update to latest fw. It is a bug! As it was before, not all expierence the same bugs. In this case there already few reports about this problem, so it can't be just coincidence. I don't have time to write just for sake of writing. I want to report problem and want to have it solved.

Hi,

I'm still on the original firmware R1A044 - due to all the issues with later firmwares.
Anyone gone to R1AA008 from this version yet?
Is it worth it or shall I stick with what I have.

Cheers,

M

I did.
If you can bare with the reboot/hang problem, then stay with R1A044.
Otherwise, upgrade to R1AA088 (my k750i never crashes after upgrading, hopefully it will keep that way ) except for some disadvantages such as hissing problem, very low calendar/notes reminder volume.
Some advantages are : multi-character search in contact, browsing pictures quite faster, etc.

@ kupsman & everyone with "script error" message

have you just tried the new SEUS II(v2.2.11b instead of v2.2.10)???
http://www.sonyericsson.com/d[....]UpdateService_Inst_2.2.11b.exe
I'm on dial-up connection and it takes at least 2 hours to download the new update client ;so if u r on ADSL plz update your F/W with the new client and if successfull let me now.

If your main purpose is talking on the phone, don't update - the hissing sound is terrible!

what i've found with the 'r1aa008' firmware:

*fixed problem with phone would randomly reset itself or turn itself off.
*fixed problem with phone not recognising sim card (insert sim).
*faster menus.
*accesses aplications and programs faster (like java games).
*better mp3 quality and volume.
*bluetooth problems have been fixed.
*calls and voice mail etc sound clearer.
*slightly better screen display (sharper, brighter).
*rotating and zooming with camera faster.
*no hissing problems with any sound whatsoever.
*no computer conncetion or file manager problems.
*and NO bugs!!! yay for sony ericsson

this firmware i have found to be absolutley perfect and i wait for sony ericsson to bring a firmware out which will keep the same but advance the phone rather than having to focus on fixing things, and since i have found no problems with this i hope they can make the next one, but to advance the phone without introducing anymore bugs. sorry for those of you who for some reason seem to have bugs even with this one.

the only BIG!!!! problem i have is that the 'r1n035' firmware completely stopped my microphone (sound recording in video or simply recording sound from entertainment) from working. just cannot seem to do it, when asked to, you just get very faint hissing sound whne playing back (not same as hissing problem as above). MUST MAKE CLEAR THAT THIS WAS NOT INTRODUCED IN THIS FIRMWARE, BUT IN LAST: R1N035. yes to me... me, me of all people, yay
