Can you actually update to the new F/W on Orange UK?
I ran the update and i'm still on R1N035.
Any help would be good. |

the music button only works with handsfree connected on the k750, on the w800 it works without handsfree too.
damn annoying and stupid in my oppinion! :angry: |

I updated yesterday and had a couple of conversations yesterday and I never experienced this "hissing" issue some people are reporting.
The only trouble I have had with it, is that it sometimes freezes when changing theme.
Also I dont see the point of the hour glass in zooming from x0 to x1.25 and not inbetween the other zooming factors. Odd me thinks. |

Hissing is there only when the volume is 3 bar or below.......but no such hissing when using handsfree........anyway I am not talking on the phone with 3 volume bar or below cos its volume is way too low anyway ! So this doesn't bother me !

There is NO single bug I expirience with this new firmware, seems like we have totaly different phones here, there is no hissing (what a stupid word btw) there is no parameter incorect bug, there is no low or high alert sounds there is no .... I just hope SE will not listen those of you who have used hacked firmwares and debranded phones so that is why you are having so much problem. Live with it. |

Pleas HELP..
i try to update my f/w with SEUS2 but when i get window where you have to press 'C' and plug in the cable and i do that noting happens..phone comes ON en that's it.. ??
what do i do wrong??
i have installed latest SE PC Suite.. and i tryied to install custom Sony Ericsson D750/K750/W800 Update Service USB driver.. but when you try to use it (when installing) it says 'No information for hardware was found'' )

Finishd.. got RA2008 or waever..you call it..  ,
above all other mentiond ''improvements'' :
*got the sissing sound when playing music
*noticed changed lettertypes in phonebook

you must download the flash usb driver at this link:

unzip the driver in an folder and turn on the phone witch button "c" holded , when promped find the folder with the flash usb driver unzipped et volia

I'm still on the original firmware R1A044 - due to all the issues with later firmwares.
Anyone gone to R1AA008 from this version yet?
Is it worth it or shall I stick with what I have.

yeah.. well, thats not the case, pal
i bought the phone from local mobile provider (tele2 estonia) and used sony's official latest updater. and it updated it to R1AA008. nice.
i hope sony-ericsson will make sometime less bloated updater plus the function to roll back to previous software. yeah, ofcourse, the updater has SOO nice big buttons, so even retarded people can use it, but there should be some functionality too. like button "restore" ? |

m8.. i just update mine R1A044 to ''008'' .. so far so good.. though you will probly get the sissing sound while playing music.. ( i hoped i would be one dose lucky one's who didn't have it..  )
