@DeLa -- Just spend enough time with the W810i. Eventually you'll get comfortable with it the way you're comfortable with the K700i. Then you can snap without too much thinking. Excessive thinking is a major hindrance to creative photography.
Not sure if you can turn off W810i autofocus... But don't let the "lag" be a problem. If you missed a moment, there'll always be an interesting one after it. And you won't remember the missed moment after a while.

i guess these will be my last posts as i'll be selling my k700 in a few days because i just got a palm treo 680 after being utterly disappointed in the p990. i hope to be back soon in SE's camp when they get there "smarts" together. |
