Same reaction as what I had. It was a lot better than I imagined even though I had the dummy for a couple of weeks.

I'll try to test it really hard in the upcoming few days. I'm using the battery from my X1 so it's almost fully charged

Took it off charge this morning at 7am, made 3 calls, gps tracking for 20 mins, some browsing as well as FB updates every 15 mins and its down to 75%. I have to monitor the apps though.

@SE_dude
Do you have the simlockfree phone also?

Doesn't anybody else have these problems with a simlockfree phone?

Just wondered if anyone has updated their Three UK handset yet?

Might have to pinch a computer from work to update my X10.

As it don't appear to wish to update through the air waves.

I'm from India as well. Could it be region specific?

Hey Moogoo, some Rogers pre-orders have already been received by customers according to some posts on HoFo, and the official release day is tomorrow. Not long now at all!

Okay... just did the SE Update Service. Still @ R1AF014 (Philippines) but updated anyway hoping that the connectivity would be okay after. No luck... still the same. Now in the process of synching everything back in. So I guess that rules out installed apps getting in the way of connectivity...

Im not sure what to take on this battery issue. Mine battery is great. On a full 100% charge with no activity, just in sleep standby mode I can go 4+ hrs before it goes to 99%. Ive tried this serveral times early in the morning. My normal day consist of me being at work from 8am-5pm. While at work, im either listening to stream music or uploaded music of my own for most of the day til bout 3pm. During that time I would receive and send out about 150-200 or so texts or IMs and A little web surfing, checking emails , a phone call here and there. I get home about 6pm, my phone would be between 75-65%. While at home, I still text and surf the web( on forums, etc) on it til bout 9 or 10pm. While surfing web im on 3G not using wifi, and I dont use bluetooth or nothing during the day. I use timescape and only have Gmail and FB syncing. By the end of the night im around 55-45%. Im pretty much satisfied with my battery life, Im constantly on my phone. I do use task killer app, and thats pretty much it. So I dont know what to make of it. Maybe some of you have bad batteries or they are not fully conditioned yet. But then again, im not a heavy bluetooth or wifi user. Only time I use bluetooth is the bluetooth hands free in my car, and Im not in my car much during the week.

My wife charges hers every 2 days..but shes not nearly as active as me. She just surf web, messaging, IMs, and Gmail sync. She doesnt FB, use bluetooth, or wifi.

We've had both device since 3/29...so maybe give it some time and maybe it'll get better.

The battery issue is a weird thing, I got 2.5 days out of mine but now the battery seems to be awful again. Last night it when from 100 - 73 per cent in six hours just in idle. I'm trying to pinpoint exactly what's draining it.

I have tended to find that when it gets to about 30 per cent it drains pretty fast.

The annoying thing is a few days again, from 100 per cent overnight (6 hours) it only drained 1 per cent.

Mines on R1AK014.

Really hope SE bring out an update that fixes this. Advanced Task Killer is great but I loath killing timescape or email as they don't tend to work properly after this and I have to reboot the phone.

I just don't understand how people can get such different battery usage, it must be a bug.

Btw, if I use the SE update service (which I have tried recently and it says no update for my phone) does it wipe the phone or simply update it without erasing all the settings, etc.
