@Hello1000,I am defending Samsung now yes. I want to say that yes we should respect each others choice. But the Note 3 is not cheaply built but yeah not as premium build as the Z1. As for over saturated screen there is a colour tone setting so that's a non argument now. The camera is sharp crisp clear shots like the GS4 is too although not quite although good although as Z1 in low light. It can take clear shots in low light as I tested last night on my Note 3 in smart stabilisation mode. Where there is light it's clear but there is noise in dark areas. I am also happier with 32 gig internal storage and 32 gig card makes me very happy. Sony stung me again although send I won't be buying their devices no more. And I also wish people would stop this childish Sammy and Sony fan boys talk. I like many manufacturers not just one. But signing up to a new phone deal with a Z1 I was allured in by Sony's marketing crappie about the great camera. It's average at best and very inconsistent. I have been fussy yes but in a 24 month deal I have the right to be. Once I opened the Z1 I could not return it. It let me down in being buggy in the same ways as previous Sony's but I was convinced things were different this time but they weren't. Anyway no more said on this from me and am not arguing with anyone just stating my views. The Z1 doesn't have perfect video recording and is pretty poor in low light very out of focus. As for 4K video well some people do have 4K screens and also the audio is loud and clear on the Samsung Note 3 video. Your basing your views on the Note 3 that you haven't even tested either. The Z1 in a drop test actually stopped working despite not cracking.

I own both of these phones. To me two of them are very good indeed.

I have to disagree on the camera department as I have found the Note 3 to produce better result. (Been shooting same motives with both phones many times). If the Z1 was better I would of course have kept it since I take a lot of pictures. Biggest issues with the Z1 camera was a lot of pictures I took was out of focus even if the camera indicated that focus was locked.

The Z1 on many of my images in Holland recently were out of focus although I am not getting into pixels and detail etc the Note 3 is better detailed overall and has better sharpness. Like this image of my Sunday lunch viewed full size has great clarity unlike Z1 but I don't wanna go on about it as it'll cause a war again

Erm,excuse me but there is no reason for you to get all nasty and personal I wasn't towards you. I had a Z1 & was mearly stating that my Note 3 was better and that the Z1 let me down. I have a right to do so. Who said I was crying and you are the one acting like a child here,not me. Why does everyone on here get so heated up about a phone?? I don't need YOU to tell ME I am in the wrong thread & I am not promoting Samsung to anyone as I don't work for them why do i need to?? SO where is your argument then?? @Bonovox this is a forum were people are allowed to express their opinion weather it's good or bad. You tried the Z1 and it wasn't for you fair enough and you are just telling other members about your experience in which you are more than entitled to do. I think hello1000 needs to chill a bit or find a different forum to vent his fury.

Hmm no it's not bad it's not as good as Sony make out it is. Same with Nokia Lumia cameras

nothing wrong with Z1.... Some people can have bad luck and get awful packed phones.....I can feel old, frustrated and out of luck any day.....but not with Z1....
In other words...If I get to choose between Alfa Giulietta and Golf I'd always go for latina..... Sometimes unreliable yes...but also means that I have still some taste left.....

Guys I'm getting amazing battery life with this phone!! this is anawesome super smartphone! i compared it in real life to note 3 and LG G2, AND this is the best out of the bunch !
every other person who saw it was amazed by it!! even nokia users said their next phone will be that one!

alright fellas..
let's just agree that we all have our own preferences and that's that. that's why there are so many different phones and designs and features, cause everyone has different needs, tastes, perceptions.
no need to insult anybody or whatever.
note 3 is surely a great device in many ways. Z1 is surely the best sony/se android device to date. I've never owned or had a note 3 so i can't comment but i am more than happy with my Z1 with everything, including the camera.
if you have a note 3, great. if you sold your z1 to get a note 3 or vice versa, good for you! you used both and found the one that fits your needs. no need to come here trashing one or the other (whichever camp you're in). both are high end devices. neither is crap. just comes down to what you want and a bit of luck as to your experiences.

@sponse - fabulous battery life. that's with no stamina mode too?  that's fantastic. I have to say, I get very similar results with my Z1 so I find it very strange that some people experience poor battery life for some reason *shrug*.
@Gitaroo - it says 5 hours and 52 minutes of screen time. this is accumulated total since his phone went on battery power. it resets back to zero when you charge your phone and starts counting once you unplug it. it also reports for other apps and services as well, so you can see how you've been using your battery and modify your use if you need to.
