Hi everyone,
I noticed that for almost every fw update, there is a change to the "text engine" version (e.g. BJ, BT, CB, etc.). Would appreciate it if someone will confirm what "text engine" is, and how it affects the phone's functions. Is this the T9 and/or multitap software? Thanks in advance. |

It's more to correct typo and rephrase commands here and there just to make the text more efficient I think.

Can i update my erom without flash my phone?
By other words, my phone is ok but sometimes has wsod! If the phone is running ok if update erom, he turns on without flashing?

upgraded my software to R1KG001 today and have lost half the themes and ringtones and some other stuff that was on it as standard before from when I got the phone new,am gutted.Plus its quiter,cant remember now what the software was before but sorry now I upgrade.anything i can do or am i stuffed? |

Seen the article on page 1,I am on o2 so if I change to the o2 software on page 1 will I got my stuff back?Got the k800i the end of last November (2006) and not touched the software ( never knew how before today ).

hey guys my firmware right now is R1JG001 im just wondering if i can update my acoustics to w880i? how can i do this im just starting to mod my k800i anyone can help me or give me a step by step procedure? i already downloaded the XS++ and the W880i.rar |

When i press it .its go automaticly to web

You mean the internet/browser button? That's how it works. If you want to change it with your own link, that's easy. Create a bookmark and set it as a new homepage. |

when i press (menu button) its not go to favoret &app &bookmark its go only to web it is changed
it is changed after i use reset all the phone delete all file software font layout camera and short cut the menu button
