Hi guys. I need some advise about the P800 here..hope somebody can help.
First of all, i was on my way to get a P800 today when the saleman told me that there will be another version of the P800 available, the P802 ?what was that about ? is it an upgrade ? i lost here...
And is this a 'good' time to get the P800 now ? i mean the software, and bugs are most of them fixed yet ? Cause i been to a few shops and most of them are out of stocks..hmmm is that a sign ?
Is it possiable to sync the dates and address with a Mac Computer ?
I been following this local forum for a while and seems that people here knows so much !! pls help hor !!:)
last the best price...i've been quote by a shop in Lucky Plaza of $1150 with GST. Local warrenty..is that a good buy ??
Thanks in advance |

Jasmine, I can only say that the difference between the P800 and
P802 is the language.
Before buying, please look hard on your requirements of what are your
needs for this phone and is the size OK for you. As for the price,
you may want to get the Upgrade of lines to buy it at S$1188 at a
more reliable M1/Singtel shop.
But do look out for newer model coming out soon within months but
those may not have big screen and PDA functions.
As for MAC support, you may want to call the support line at 67440733

i just got my hbh 60 a couple of days back... so far i have been using it for 3 days without charging about 1 hour of usage each day... it is by far the best bluetooth ear piece i have used so far without any problem. the earpiece construction is solid and is without any wires from the ear hook to the main piece (unlike the hbh 30). the hbh construction is such that all the components (batteries, circuitry, charging point) are inside the main piece. The ear hook can be detach from the main piece unlike the hbh30. it's easy to put on, same functions as hbh 30 but definately a lot better in terms of durability and points of failure. a must buy for all users with bluetooth phones. |

Like what the others have mention you must know what is your need. The p802 is with chinese language and a dictionary which is chinese to english and english to chinese. However it will take up more internal memory. That might mean slower processing time. If you need to read chinese there's another way so not to worry.
The software is quite ok now after the upgrade to r1d for phone and r1g for organiser so not to worry.
Best buy so far is to sign plan and trade-in a used phone. If you have read the earlier post, you will notice that one shop at novena offer instalement scheme.
As for Mac, some ppl in the other forum have successfully syn mac with the p800 so I don't see it as a problem. But its better that you call the service centre or helpdesk.
If you really get the phone, please sign up with me to join the club. |
