When having trouble getting my aligning tool in any of the numerous hole's I find that a little flange lubricator can help a great deal!

Flange rubbers can be indispensable to stop any costly mistakes and can alsoi stop any dirt and grime getting under the rim.
They are available in many shapes and sizes to suit any length and girth
