other fixes/issues:
- the scrollbar bug is fixed - if a list had too many items, the scroll bar didn't display correctly - to check this go to operators list in network search, or in service menu go to text labels.
- after the fw update, the progress bars are screwed a little bit - they do not show progress, but are greyed out. You need to reset the theme and it's fixed.
- character search is buggy in file manager - when pressing letter, it jumps to a file but without any logic.

another findings: i really hate to admit it... but looks like the new firmware has lotsa noise while shooting in low-light environment. ive been shooting in low-light with R1L and R1N but there much noise with R1AA. funny.. but anyway it looks great while shooting in an ample light environment. cheerio peeps.. the fight aint over yet.. hehehe.
uumm maybe a strategy of SE. so that K750 will still be rarin to wait for further updates.. and in return make it the crowd favorite... eerrr.. ok just dont mind me...

I also have K750i VFE 1 and get the script error... also.. the downloaded firmware by seus is the old one.. not the new one... |

Just updated my k750i no problem. Is unbranded and went through (eventually after waiting for 3 days to get onto server) with no issues. One thing tho, why does it tell you to remove the sim card? I didn't and it updated with no errors!

I had this. My phone was completely dead after that! So i uninstalled SEUS II, installed the new Java (java.com, but i don't know if it changes anything  ), used the older client to do a recover FW update. I then got the R1N035.
And finally, i reinstalled SEUS II and made the update. I finally had R1NAA008

OK, bluetooth transfer with new firmware has improved, A LOT, at least with my BToes dongle v2.0:
36KB/s sending from phone to computer
44KB/s receiving from computer to phone
Tests were performed with 8.4MB video file and in close proximity 1-2 m, there is big difference comparing it with older R1N fw, especialy in receiving from computer transfer.

I had RIL002 before I upgraded my w800i to R1AA008. I notice that the walkman player doesn't give good sound quality as before. Bass is heavier but the sound sprectrum and richness decreased. Anyone feel the same as I am? Now I regret upgrading my phone and want to go back to R1L002!!! |

To Mwarner - Thank you for updating the main page with the "parrameter is incorrect" error. It is good to see that someone is listening. I've tried all different options that I could think off and no difference. I even run the update several times in case something has changed. i.e. if you look in C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\db\13740270\blob_db\data you'll notice changes in files and I think this reflects changes in f/w. It may well be specific changes. All i know is that over the last 3 days I have been able to upgrade twice more and still get the "parameter is not specified" error messae |

After upgrading my K750 firmware to R1AA008, there is an echo noise during any call made. Noise level seemed to increase, besides increase in Volume... This bug needs to be fixed in the next firmware, SonyEricsson!
Multi characters search in contacts is definitely a long waited feature. It makes looking out for names much faster...

My phone is still halfly updated and the problem is still there at SEUS II.
despite my phone being halfly updated ,i didn't have any problems since i updated
the only thing is that phone laguages (and NOT writing languages) are only limited to english and since my english is not that much bad (!),so i can live this half updated phone untill SE fixes the problem
I only hope that SE service center be aware of this prob and do sth as soon as poss. |

After upgrading to R1AA088:
- calendar + notes reminder volume are very low.
- hissing problem while playing low volume song still exist but quite improved.
Other than above disadvantages, the rest are worth upgrading.
- browsing pictures is quite faster.
- multi-character search in contact
- no hang/reboot problem (my last f/w was R1A044 )
in overall, I am happy with the new f/w except for the low calendar + notes reminder volume.
