For polyphonic ringtones, easiest would be to just purchase the ringtones you want from Iguana.
However, assuming you have the money but the ringtones are not on Iguana, you can download their tool which allows you to limit your midi files to only 4 instruments. If you're lucky, the ringtone will still sound OK after reducing it to 4 instruments. Unfortunately, you'll have to upload your new version back to Iguana and still pay to send it to your family. But if you're like me, you might even end up earning credits when other users decide to download your ringtone. It happened to me so it could happen to you too
I'm quite sure there are other tools out there that allows you to reduce the number of instruments in a midi file. But I never had the incentive to do the hunting.
Anyway, hope this somehow helps.

I know the SX1 is good but my personal opinion is their phone design for all models looks very backward and it is not nice at all. Even the Samsung phones is a much better looking design phone than theirs.
No offence, it is my personal view only. Not representing others view.

SX1 design looks unique but awkward, how can you sms with one hand. Imagine a scenario, you are on a train standing and needs to sms to someone, the train suddenly stops, your hand tried to catch a handrail but too late...blaggg...ooouch...where's my SX1?...excuse me plese...
Just my opinion.
