I just upgraded to R1KG001 from R1GB002.
R1KG001 JAVA engine has the option to set "ask once" or "never ask" permssions for read/write user data. This means the ability to run file system accessing java apps without the repetitive file system access permission prompt
I've asked mwarner to include this in the first post of the thread.

Hm, you update through SEUS and it screw by giving K700 GDFS? I have no idea sorry! I don't even think it is possible to change GDFS with SEUS/Wotan/Kulan. etc. What exactly that you do when you use that internet update service? Giving detail step may help to see why it went wrong.
Have you tried to use holding 2&5 with wotan to update EROM ver? |

I just updated using my XP Machine to R1KG001 and it went good all the way along and then when I turn my phone on i get a whitesreen and then It goes dark and then I get a message saying please wait and thats it. Please help I need my phone for alarm.
FIXED: Plugged in charger and tunred it on and tnaaaaa. I t worked. My battery was about to die when i was jupdating and i didnt realeise

There are seems few ppl getting that error message when running wotan. MAybe that show a problem with GDFS? I am not sure here sorry. You need to ask wotan. Try issue a ticket and detail information on their customer service! |

I get the same problem in Wotan. My EROM is R3A011 but I want to update to the latest current version which is R3A022 |

Which is my current software version ID and how do I find out which version update to choose and compatible? Or any new version compatible with any k800i?

Hi, but i updated mine for the last version by SEUS, but he didn't upgrade my EROM to 22, so my phone got stuck at boot with a white screen!!
How do i upgrade to the last sw and erom with SEUS without my phone get stuck after upgrade??

SEUS won't be able to upgrade your EROM at all. Wotanserver can, but you must pay. For a phone with white screen after SEUS, well, there is only one solution: reflash the firmware. For free, you can visit SE Service Centre if it is still under warranty. For quick job, buy a log at WotanServer. Good luck. |

hey guys, i got a problem on my k800.
yesterday i did update the firmware since R1KG via seus have the java restriction removed. but there;s another problem:
that is the camera date and time stamp is becoming red in colour, just like old Kseries. but then when i take picture with the stamp enabled it has1minute delay to let me take another picture... well this is quite annoying because i have to turn off the timestamp in order to get my camera working as usual..
any idea??  |
