I'd be really surprised if SE didn't keep the 2011 Xperias updated with Ice Cream. The wouldn't want to have another X10 series debacle on their hands..

@smclion102 That looks seriously cool. Is that just a normal Arc (not an Arc S)? and does it need a special update to run the mic like that?

Scratch the Xperia range from that list. Remember that Sony works in isolation to SE in hardware. This is a Sony only transaction. SE are likely going to be using Qualcomm.

ComcScore's MobiLens research into the five biggest European markets provides an insight into the UK market share enjoyed by major handset manufacturers.
Almost 20 million Android handsets are being used in those countries (UK, Spain, France, Italy Germany), with the UK the biggest market with 6.3 million users.
"Sony Ericsson has a significant portion of the remainder (14.2%) in UK"

That's not that surprising because a lot of people still own SE's old java 'dumbphones' where walkman/cyber-shot were a complete hit in the UK among youth etc. I know loads of people who own the W995i, and others who still use old phones like the K800i! The UK is one of SE's best markets, could this be down to the fact that their HQ is located in London?
